You will doubtless be astonished to discover that I am not going to offer a searing critique of this book, given that I wrote it. I am, however, in a good position to explain what it is about. The concept is pretty simple; many of the places narrated in Greek myths actually tally with true locations in Greece so I decided to put together a guide for sailors that would mean that if they cruised into a certain bay or to a certain island they could bore fellow crew members with all
