the meaning you make

When it began dawning on me in early March that we would soon be going into ‘lockdown’, I felt panicked. I’ve never been the most practical person, and trying to ascertain how one might prepare for a ‘worldwide pandemic’ felt a little overwhelming. In hindsight, I just needed some food but at the time my mind was gearing up for Armageddon. In short, I was in survival mode.
