CUPBOARD LOVE

Annie opened the kitchen cupboard to find herself a mug, and it happened again – the face of Rob Tyler flashed through her thoughts.

She sighed. Was this always going to happen? Would her hand-built cupboard be a constant reminder of the first man she’d seriously fancied in ages?

This hadn’t occurred to her when she’d commissioned Rob to make it. Yes, it was a desperate ploy to see him again. But all she’d got out of it was somewhere to store her tumblers and crockery.
