ASK VAL

I love reading but am dismayed that the Name of Jesus Christ is blasphemed so freely. What do I do when I come across a book that has blasphemy in it?

Here’s the Word on it: – 1 Corinthians 10:31. That’s the Lord’s standard. God must be always glorified. If an author deliberately blasphemes and mocks the only Name whereby – 1 Corinthians 10:21. Reading exercises your mind and, like physical exercise, is of value (1 Tim 4:8). We can learn a lot from books if they adhere to the standard set out in Philippians 4:8. Many excellent books and magazines fall into this category, both secular and spiritual. What to do with books containing blasphemy? My personal choice is to consign them to the same fate reserved for all blasphemers (Rev 19:20).
