A KIND WORD

I was having brunch recently with a friend. She was observing a young, in-love couple behind me. She commented that he was rubbing her back and showing such tender affection. As they left and walked past her, she said to them, “What an amazing couple you are! So loving towards each other.” They smiled and left.

Then a bit later, an old lady walked towards us and my friend commented how fit she looked for her age. When the old lady walked past she complimented her on her fine figure. The lady said she was 72 and seemed so chuffed. She walked on with her miniature yorkie and a strut in her step. A while later a woman walked past in a lovely soft flowing dress.
