he joy of being surrounded by Africa’s mesmerising sights and sounds cannot be compared. The colours are magical and, as the sun sets, the whole landscape becomes golden, pink, purple and red, like a painting. The music of Africa is bewitching and, particularly during the morning chorus and twilight symphony, everything hums with life:
