Retrograde Planets in 2023

Retrogradation takes place when a planet, as viewed from Earth, appears to move slower, stops (stations retrograde) at a particular degree, and as a result “appears” to move backwards through the zodiac for a fixed amount of time, causing it to linger longer than usual in a portion of the zodiac. At some point in the retrograde cycle, the planet slows and stops (stations direct) once more, and then moves forward again.

When planets retrograde, they have a mind of their own and alter what the planet represents. Whenever you need to follow a plan around the time the planet begins its retrograde cycle, make sure you have an alternate one. Retrograde periods are times when you can look back at decisions you made and actions you have taken. You can review, rethink, and revise your strategies and when the planet stations direct, you can make those revisions and move forward.
