Before Meghan had married into the family, she was already stepping on Kate’s toes - offending the then-pregnant duchess by asking to borrow her lip gloss.
Describing the moment as awkward, Harry recalls, “Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube. Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced… small clash of styles, maybe.”
After revealing text messages where Meghan and Kate got heated over Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, Harry adds that following the exchange Meghan “sobbed on the floor”.
He also claims Kate was deeply offended by Meghan saying she had “baby brain” in the lead-up the 2018 birth of Prince Louis.
