MUSICIAN ISAIAH FIREBRACE’S upbringing was full of adventures, family road trips and music – all factors he believes were formative for his career. “We were always on the road,” he recalls. “For Christmas holidays, we didn’t really do the traditional thing – our present was to drive to Queensland for a holiday. We’d also travel up to northern New South Wales and around Victoria in a bus on church tours, with all the music equipment and the tent we’d set up for outreaches. I’ve been on the road with music since I was a kid.”
Isaiah, 23, was born in Portland in south-west Victoria, but spent the majority of his childhood in the ‘twin’ towns of Echuca and Moama on the Vic/NSW border.
