Cotswold line makes profit after passenger figures soar following Covid-19

THE GloucesterWarwickshire Railway recorded a small profit in its 2022 financial year, with passenger numbers rising by 28% following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The railway carried 97,000 passengers last year compared with 76,000 in 2021 – yet still expressed disappointment that this was below target.
