Materials
• Scraps and strips of assorted print fabrics to total about 1.8m (2yd) (Log Cabin blocks)
• Assorted low volume print fabrics to total about 1.3m (1½yd). Laurelle used part of a Jelly Roll of Bee Backgrounds by Lori Holt for Riley Blake
• Larger scraps — some need to be 7½in square — of assorted print fabrics to total about 3m (3⅜yd) (Flying Geese)
• 1m (1⅛yd) pale green print fabric #1 (border)
• 60cm (¾yd) pale green print fabric #2 (binding)
• 4m (4⅜yd) backing fabric
• Batting at least 220cm x 200cm (88in x 78in)
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with ¼in foot
• General sewing supplies
Cutting
From the scraps and strips of assorted print fabrics for the Log Cabin blocks, cut:
• 24 squares, 2½in (block centres)
