Picking up my phone, I sat down with a cuppa, preparing to find myself a bargain.
Using Nextdoor, a community app, you could buy and sell anything on there.
I was often finding hidden treasures for just pennies.
Scrolling through the local groups I could join, my thumb hovered over a dating group.
Should I join it? I thought, I’m not really looking for love…
I’d been comfortably single for two years and although I have two children of my own, I’ve never been married before.
I was unlucky in love.
But on the off-chance that I might meet someone, I decided to give it a go, joining the group.
As time went by, I found myself being messed around by a few local guys online.
