World’s First Known Postal Service

The earliest known use of symbols to represent words or ideas dates back to the Neolithic period, around 7000 BC. This was a time tumultuous change, with humans starting to build, farm and reach out to their fellow men. It was in this brave new world that people began to experiment with new ways of communicating and sharing information.
