Basil Sellers Art Prize

Offering a prize pool of over $30,000, the Basil Sellers Art Prize is an acquisitive biennial award celebrating artistic excellence and supporting creative practitioners, and championing 2D artworks in traditional mediums of painting, drawing, and printmaking (unique state). Artists from any background or region across Australia are encouraged to enter. Prize categories include the $25,000 acquisitive award, and the $5,000 Eurobodalla Prize in recognition of an outstanding local entry.

Burnie Print Prize

The Burnie Print Prize 2025 invites printmakers and cross-disciplinary artists living and working in Australia to enter eligible works created in the two years prior to the final submission date. Offering a prize pool of $23,000, the winner will take home $17,000 cash and have their work join the Burnie Arts collection alongside winners from previous years. An exhibition of shortlisted works will be held at the newly refurbished Art Gallery within Burnie Arts, Burnie TAS 7320, from March 14 to May 18, 2025.

Entries close 5pm, Sun Nov 3.
