• Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat lace (lace) weight mercerized cotton yarn (7/8 oz/153 yds/25g per ball): 2 balls each #505 linen and #074 mercury
• Size 9/4/1.25mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Stitch markers: 17
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE

Rnds 1–4 = 2 inches in diameter

PATTERN NOTES

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Chain-1 at beginning of round counts as first single crochet unless otherwise stated.

Chain-2 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Change colors where indicated by using the new color to complete the last pull-through step of the previous stitch. Fasten off previous color.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Beginning popcorn (beg pc): Ch 3, 3 dc where indicated, drop lp from hook, insert hook from front to back in top of first dc, pick up dropped lp, draw through lp on hook, ch 1 (to close st).

Popcorn (pc): 4 dc where indicated, drop lp from hook, insert hook from front to back in top of first dc, pick up dropped lp, draw through lp on hook, ch 1 (to close st).

Beginning front post double crochet (beg fpdc): Sl st from front to back to front again around indicated st, ch 3.

Beginning back post double crochet (beg bpdc): Sl st from back to front to back again around indicated st, ch 3.
