- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Garden designer, Mibby Garrett is having a hard time getting her life back on track after losing her husband in a accident. She has a fun-loving neighbor, Louise, who is a great friend, a teen-age son, who is having a hard time with the loss of his Dad, and a dog, Blink, who is a loyal partner.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book focuses on Mibby Garrett, a garden designer whose husband suddenly dies. It describes her journey as she works through her grief while still trying to provide emotional support to her teenage son, Ky. While this book does not leave the reader on the 'edge of her seat', there are enough twists and turns that unfold as the story progresses to keep the reader intrigued. An enjoyable book where relationships with God are also explored.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A walk along with a woman's travels through experiencing grief with surprising events along the way. I was a little turned off initially by the religious overtones that wound into the story but they had a point and I appreciated how they were exhibited in her Bed and Breakfast neighbor. Her characters were well described and appealing, including her business partner, a dog.
