      It was ok. More on the smut than plot side than I prefer.

      I love the narrators in this book. The sex scenes made me giggle a little bit. It was a little over the top but in a good way.

      Sadly, I couldn't finish listening to this book. I wanted to like it because it sounded interesting, but the narration of the book wasn't that good, and the smut scenes have even worse narration ??‍♀️.

      This was an all right read, but I think I’ve realized I am never going to be a mafia alpha-hole fan club member. Also, there were some editing issues that pulled me out of scenes or didn’t really make sense.

      The audio narration was great though and the male narrator really had a lot of emotion in his voice which was nice as it wasn’t just gruff and grumbly

      The narrator made this one rough. The female narrator is awful when she voices the male characters. It's such a comical almost offensive fake accent. She makes them all sound like nasal stereotypes. And then she voices the spicy scenes like she is dying. It is so wheezy and sounds painful. I almost never skip finishing a book, but my word this voice actor is so extra.

      Sadly, I couldn't get through this audiobook because the narration was awful. I'd just listened to two entire books read out by AI and that was pretty rough, but honestly preferable to this very uncomfortable audio. I think the story was a little bit trash too, but I found myself cringing so viscerally during the sex scenes due to the voices the actors use that I can't even remember how the writing was.

      This one is good as I expected, but the female narrator keeps wheezing every other word during the spicy scenes, and it reminds me of an asthma attack. Not sex...at all ? Had to take away a star

      I love a good mafia romance with some great spicy scenes, but the female portrayal of the male lead was so so bad. She sounds like she’s straining and constipated. She gives the male lead an awful accent also which doesn’t match the male narration. The male narrator did a great job. She did well as the female, but her narration of the male character really took this book down for me.

      Storyline was nice but the female narrator sounded like she was hyperventilating during sex scenes. Beyond irritating. Would have given more stars but for her.

      I struggled finishing this book. I think it was a combination or narrators & the way it was written. It definitely had potential - I preferred the first 2/3. 2nd book in this series I’ve read. I was wondering why I hadn’t read this one straight after the last

      nope, just nope.
      I am usually someone who powers through and listens to a book just to finish it. but this was way too cringe for me. The narrators have a pleasant voice, but when you get to the sex scenes... OMG .. NOOOOO!!!

      so yeah I had to drop it half way through, I just can't.
      I'd rather listen to my cat meowing in the hallway all day.
