About this audiobook

We were high school sweethearts. One day she disappeared after class and didn’t come back. She left me high and dry. I was angry. I took it out on her by sleeping with her best friend. Then she showed back up with a story I didn’t believe. I was done.

I married her best friend after she got pregnant, and now I have a seventeen-year-old son who’s stuck in the middle of our divorce.

But then I saw my ex again. Feelings arose I thought I buried all those years ago. She’s still mine. I proved it against a wall after a heated argument. I found out there’s been no one else since me, and now that I’ve had her again, I’ll make sure there is no one else.

Then I met her son, and he looks just like me.

He’s also seventeen and best friends with my son.

The story line was great! I really wish the characters spent more time talking to each other instead of the extensive “thinking” in their own heads. But overall, good book.

It was a good listen, I like the narrators, and the story was good. I just so frustrated with one particular character, my goodness, get a clue guy.

I had to put this book down at about 30% complete. I couldn’t read it anymore. There are so many problematic and unhealthy story lines going on that are poorly written and confusing. Most of it isn’t even plausible, not to mention how sexist this book was. Save your time and read something else.

The reviews are correct! The plot is ridiculous! No self esteem. I guess the narrators (which I love) will read out anything for the money. It was offensive to women. I couldn’t even finish it. Don’t waste your time.

Poorly written and poorly narrated. Everyone tried too hard. The book was long because the story just didn't have substance. Don't waste your time.

Couldn’t get over the fact that she became close friends with the man that kidnapped, held hostage for months and tried to beat her into miscarriage..regardless of what happened during the story line, her close friends past were not redeemable. None of them.
