What our readers think

Readers find this title to have excellent content, but the narration is abysmal. The stilted and inconsistent narration makes it hard to get through the book. However, the book offers a beautiful vision of life and theology at its best. The ending is a letdown, but there are many quotable bits about life, death, and suffering. Overall, it is a beautiful tale of salvation, but the narrator's voice can be too quiet at times.

Narrator was Excellent! Story, not so much. The ending was a huge letdown. Lots of quotable bits about life death and suffering, but the ending set it back.

This book launched a genre: fantasy. Yet it is strange...

An earlier reviewer set the book was so so, and the narration was excellent. I say the book content was excellent, and the narration was abysmal. A stilted, inconsistent narration that didn't flow well made it very hard to get through the excellent content of the book itself.

Wow! What a beautiful vision of life (eternal). Theology at its best. Modern rationality centered "serious academic theology" doesn't do it for me anymore.

A beautiful tale of salvation, enchantingly written. Unfortunately the narrator's voice is too quiet at times to listen to it in a noisy place on the headphones.
