    Readers find this title riveting from start to finish, with a wonderfully crafted tale of old London. The pace is just right, the characters are suspect until the very end, and the story is worthy of any masterpiece mystery bookshelf. It is a delightful discovery of a new name in the murder mystery lineage, full of interesting twists and good humor.

      What a tangled web of lies we weave... I was totally taken by this wonderfully crafted tale of old London. The reader is fantastic, the pace just right, & the story is worthy of any masterpiece mystery bookshelf... and I've read all the best. I highly recommend this delightful discovery of a new (to me anyhow) name in the murder mystery lineage.

      Good fun. This is another of Lorac’s enjoyable stories, full of interesting twists and some good humor along the way.
