I felt a calling on my life at a young age, but I spent the next twenty years running from that calling. During those years, there were many times I felt something was missing from my life. I tried basketball, women, friends, music, and anything else the world had to offer. I ended up miserable and had a big hole in my life that only one thing could fill. In the fall of 2008, I finally grabbed hold of the nail-scarred hands that had been reaching out to me my whole life. The moment I accepted Christ, the void in my heart was filled with his love. He began a work in me that day, and my life has never been the same.
