Born in Colorado, my family migrated from Germany and settled in parts of Virginia that would become the state of Kentucky. I live in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, wife, mother and grandmother. ...view moreBorn in Colorado, my family migrated from Germany and settled in parts of Virginia that would become the state of Kentucky. I live in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, wife, mother and grandmother. I turned to writing for healing after the tragic loss of our twenty-two year old son. I battle severe fibromyalgia and lupus and use writing to stay connected to the world around me. As the days pass, I struggle to understand the depths of life, death, survival, accomplishment, failure, sorrow and contentment. I will be sharing some of the most intimate details of my life through my writings. My writings are meant to touch the heart, light the path and encourage the reader not to surrender. My main purpose for writing is to heal, if not others, myself. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey.
