Trinity

About this ebook
The detached "Odd" trilogy of "Eggs for Eyes", "Of Great Gore and the Sleeping Beasts", and "The Children of the Land of Odd" conjoin several stories of apocalypse by different (and often hilarious) ways in David Lawler's short-story collection, "Trinity". With "Mumbai Jive Pop", extermination comes at the hands (or wings), we should say) of over-populated birds. "Garbage World" is about piled-up trash. "All Girls" chronicles the aftermath of a tornado. The end of the world is not limited to our terran confines but also deep space, as "Arr Eff" shows what happens when the remaining population of Earth goes mad aboard an enormous spaceship. The sci-fi/western opus, "Sonora Blues" presents the picture of a border town overrun by body-snatching aliens.
