Weekends of Adventure - Daniel Hardie
Introduction
Welcome to ‘Weekends of Adventure’, my name is Daniel Hardie, author of this eBook and its site Nothing But Adventure. I have been writing about travel & adventure since 2009 with the goal of inspiring & motivating others to get outdoors and start living an adventure lifestyle.
We have more to do now than we ever have before in this modern world, yet still we find ourselves feeling bored with ‘nothing to do’ all weekend.
We all need a bit of adventure in our lives to open our minds, keep us excited and have something in life worth looking forward to. Especially after a long hard week of work, we want our weekends and/or holidays to be fun and interesting.
When someone asks you the vague but very common question; ‘What’s new with you?’ you can give an interesting answer about what you did or are going to do on the weekend.
Instead of the same old response ‘nothing just the same old’ you could say something like ‘well last week I went diving with Great Whites and this weekend I’m going rock climbing in the national park’. Doesn’t that sound like a better conversation to have?
What is an adventure exactly?
The dictionary meaning of adventure is as follows; an exciting and unusual experience. For me, adventure is anything that opens your mind to new experiences whether for adrenalin, knowledge, learning new skills or even getting out into nature. The definition is virtually limitless and may have different meanings to different people.
To find weekends of adventure I have included many different categories of adventure including scuba diving, extreme sports, wildlife tours, sightseeing tours such and more. This guide gives you a whole range of things to choose from this weekend. For all your tours and booking visit Nothing But Adventure.
My personal favourites include scuba diving, shark diving, sailing and just travel, in general. Seeing as you are here, reading this eBook I assume that you are already looking for weekends of adventure, so let’s get started...
Low Cost Activities
Are you looking for an activity that is fun and exciting that doesn't break the bank account? Some of the best things in life are free or at least inexpensive. So next time you're bored and on a tight budget try some of the following activities to entertain you.
If you live close to a lake or river then why not enjoy the relaxing, calming and enjoyable hobby of fishing. You can pick up fishing rods for next to nothing in many major retail stores or fishing shops. Generally the fish shops will be within the vicinity of where you plan to fish but of course most major retailers stock fishing gear as well.
Once you have your rod you are set so you can then fish as much or as little as you want. There are of course the
