      Part 1: In The Beginning… There Was Light

      Today, he’s a mega star gracing the covers of countless magazines, topping the charts with catchy tunes, gaining the complete adoration of devoted Beliebers, and even amassing over 40 million Twitter followers. But despite his undeniable pop star status today, Justin Beiber’s beginnings were also undeniably humble.

      On March 1, 1994, it began as just another day of work at St. Joseph’s Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada. The staff went through their routine check-ups, physicals, and labs when an ordinary healthy, bouncing baby boy by the name of Justin Drew Beiber was born to a 17 year-old woman named Patricia Mallette.

      When Patricia left the hospital with her bundle of joy, no one even thought to take a second look. But what no one, not even Patricia herself, could have guessed was that the little bundle of joy safely cradled in his young mother’s arms would one day be a superstar sensation not seen since the early days of Michael Jackson’s career.
