      EDITOR’S NOTE

      This book is a set of talks given by Imre Vallyon to his pupils at a Spiritual Retreat held from July 30 to August 18, 2001, in Stapelage, Germany. Imre’s Retreats are multidimensional experiences because they combine active and passive forms of meditation and spiritual exercises, devotional chanting in ancient languages such as Sanskrit and Hebrew, and his talks from the Wisdom Mind. This approach, which is a synthesis of Eastern and Western traditions, stimulates both the Head and Heart Centres so that Divinity can be experienced as the Light of Nirvana in the Head Centre and the Light of Love in the Heart Centre. Like all his talks, these were spontaneously delivered, since the inspiration that comes through Imre’s teaching is in the here-and-now, as the Spirit expresses itself in the moment.

      PROLOGUE

      The Mystery of Space—The Sun, a Living Entity—The Invisible Cosmos—Invisible Worlds.

      God is Infinite and Absolute; Limitless and Omnipresent; Boundless and Immutable; Changeless Existence, the Eternal Now; beyond Past, Present and Future; Ineffable, beyond Space and Time; in the Unmanifested State; Unconditioned. From That (Tat), the Unconditioned, comes forth all that is, the All, the Conditioned Creation or Universes, which remain within the Unconditioned. The Universes are born, evolve and dissolve within the Godhead (Brahman). The Universes are not separate from the Absolute Godhead (Parabrahman), the Universal Logos.

      From the Universal Logos springs forth the Solar Logoi, or the Manifested-God embodied in the immense multitude of Suns and Solar Systems in Infinite Space. Each Solar Logos becomes the Manifested-God in that part of Infinitude bounded by His Auric Field, His Life-Wave-in-Incarnation. Thus, a Solar Logos is God incarnate. The Cosmic Logos becomes incarnate in a Solar Logos, whose Body is a Solar System in the Seven-Layered Space.

      The Auric Field of the Solar Logos stretches into Space many billions of miles in the Seven-Layered-Omni-Space, Akasha. The physical Sun we see with our physical eyes is a small organ (the dense physical heart) of the Solar Deity, Savita (the Solar Logos). All the planets, that is, the Planetary Logoi, are but Chakras (Energy Centres) in the Auric Field of our Solar Logos.

      Interpenetrating the whole Solar System are Seven Subtle Planes of Being. Within these Seven Subtle Planes (which include the invisible etheric-physical dimension) are numerous subtle, invisible Realms, Worlds (Lokas) and Spheres of Being. These are all within the Auric Field of Savita, our Solar Logos. Within these innumerable Realms, Worlds and Spheres of Being in the Aura of Savita live twelve Creative Hierarchies—human, angelic (Deva), archangelic (Sura) and so on—in vast multitudes. Each of these twelve Hierarchies has billions of entities evolving according to their Patterns over vast periods of time in the Aura of the Manifested-God, Savita, our Solar Logos. All these entities live in the Cosmic Physical and Cosmic Etheric-physical Body of the Sun, our Solar Logos.

      The physical Sun and the physical Solar System are the outermost parts of the Dense Physical Body of the Spiritual Sun, our Solar Logos. The Solar Logos is a Cosmic Being of Light and, like a human being, has a physical body; an astral, or feeling, body; and a mind, or mental body. And, like a human being, He is a re-incarnating Ego, or Soul; the Spirit; and the Absolute Divinity within—but on vast, cosmic proportions. The difference between a human being and the Solar Logos is not one of Principles of Make-up, but one of scale, size and magnitude. This is the true meaning of the Biblical expression, Man was made in the image and likeness of God. The human being is a miniature replica of the Solar Logos, or Solar Deity, an atom within the Solar Logos, so to speak.

      The Sun is the source of Life, Light, Love and Happiness on all the Planes of Being, not just in the Physical World. It is the source of all Energy in all the Worlds in the Solar System, in both the visible and invisible Worlds.

      The Sun Centre in the human microcosm is the Heart Chakra. It receives Prana (Radiant Energy) from the physical Sun and Light energies from the invisible parts of the Sun. The human heart in the microcosm is the same as the Sun in the macrocosm, the Solar System.

      The Sun is a centre of consciousness, that is, it is alive, conscious and intelligent. It is a Cosmic Being, a Cosmic Person, a Personality of Vast Proportions. The Sun is the God-Self within the Solar System, just as in the human Heart Centre the God-Self is found. The human Heart Centre gives you Faith, which is a Luminous Power and is an aspect of the Radiance of the Spiritual Sun of the Solar System.

      The Sun is a manifestation of the Word of God, the Universal (or Cosmic) Logos. The Sun illuminates all the invisible Worlds with Self-generating Light. Illumination in the human Heart and Head Centres is received directly from the Sun of our Solar System. The Illumination-Material is the Light of the Solar Logos, Surya-Jyoti. All activities within the Solar System, on all the planets, in all the Worlds, Planes or Realms of Being, by all entities, are but transformations of Sun-Light.

      The light of the Sun our physical eyes see is only a small fragment of the Light. Out of that Light, all the Worlds are made, as well as all the beings within the Worlds. You are also made of that Sun-Light and so are your mind, emotions, Soul and Spirit, at different levels of Vibration of the Light of the Solar Logos, Jyoti. The Matter that the different Planes of our Solar System are made of is just different Frequencies, or Vibrations, of the Solar Light, which in itself is but a differentiation of the Universal Light, the Boundless-Light-of-Omni-Space, the Universal Logos.

      Worship of the Sun is the most direct worship of God. It is not worshipping an inanimate object in the sky. We must understand true Reality. God is not out there somewhere far away, but here where we are. We are living in God, that is, in the Sun. The Sun, or Solar Logos, is a Cosmic Centre or Focal Point for God’s Infinite Power, Majesty, Glory, Divinity.

      The Sun is not merely physical energy, but the Energy behind all of the seven Great Solar Systemic Planes of Manifestation. And beyond that, the Sun lives in the Cosmic Astral, Cosmic Mental and Cosmic Causal Planes as a Cosmic Being in Boundless Space.

      All the planets and invisible Worlds in our Solar System swim in the Solar Radiation. The Sun is the light of the world and the Light of the Worlds. The Light within you is simply the Light of the Sun. The physical Sun is God-visible-in-the-sky, that part of God the physical body can experience through the senses. The invisible parts of the Sun are perceived by more subtle senses and spiritual faculties. When you look at the Sun with your physical eyes you are looking at the living Image of the Creator-God on this level of perception.

      The Sun is the Heart Centre (Hridaya Chakra) of the Solar Logos, not symbolically but actually. In the human being, the Heart is multidimensional: the physical heart, the etheric-physical heart, the astral heart, the mental, or causal, heart and the Spiritual Heart. And it is the same with the Solar Logos. The visible Sun corresponds to the physical heart in the human system. But within, around and through the visible physical Sun, there are the many layers of the Heart of the Solar Logos on all the Seven Planes of Being. Thus, the Sun is the physical Sun shining on the Physical Plane; the Subjective, or Psychic, Sun shining on the Astral Plane; the Heart of the Sun shining on the Mental Plane; and the Spiritual Sun shining on the Nirvanic Plane and above.

      The visible and invisible planets in the Solar System are embodiments of Cosmic Beings, Planetary Logoi existing on their own Seven Planes who, cosmically considered, are not as evolved as the Solar Logoi. In fact, they act as Chakras, or Energy Centres, in the Cosmic Physical, Cosmic Astral and Cosmic Mental Bodies of the Solar Logos. The whole Solar System (with all the visible and invisible planets on all the Seven Planes of Being) is but His Cosmic Physical Body. The whole Solar Systemic Manifestation is but His Cosmic Physical Incarnation, like your physical body is the incarnation of you as a Soul. But He also lives in a Cosmic Astral Body, a Cosmic Mind Body and a Cosmic Causal Body, as you do, but on a microscopic scale.

      Thus, the Solar System is but a minute, temporary incarnation of the Cosmic Spiritual Soul of our Solar Logos, one of the series of His Cosmic Reincarnations. He has activities outside the Solar System on the higher Cosmic Planes, just like you, who live in your physical body but have major interests that lie elsewhere. It is on those higher Cosmic Planes that our Solar Logos really lives His Cosmic Life beyond the Solar Systemic existence, in a state of Glory, Splendour, Intelligence and Love beyond human comprehension.

      The Universe is a vast, inconceivable Being. The countless multitudes of Stars (Suns, or Solar Logoi) are but the atoms composing the Infinite-Body-of-the-Boundless-Absolute. Space—the Body of the Absolute—stretches into infinitudes on all sides and in all dimensions, within and without. The emptiness of space is an illusion (Maya) of the physical eyes. In truth, Space is total solidity, total reality, total density, total being-there. Space is solid; it is matter, the atoms, that are void or empty. The Universes, Worlds and Solar Systems are but bubbles floating within the solidity of Omni-Space, or the Absoluteness. They are temporary manifestations; the Absoluteness remains always.

      Our Solar Logos permeates this portion of Infinite Space, the portion covered by His Auric Field. He pours His Life and Soul into this portion of Space, literally sacrificing Himself, exhausting His own Life-Wave, pouring it into the physical, astral, mental and the other higher dimensions. The Solar System (in its visible and invisible realms) is the field of activity of our Solar Logos, who works with the materials provided by Cosmic Space.

      Chapter 1

      The Divine Plan

      The Circle of the Sun Initiation—The Christ Hierarchy of Enlightened Souls—The miracle of the etheric-physical body—The animal body and the tragedy of Humanity—The divine purpose of Humanity.

      It’s not by accident that you have been called to this particular section of our work, which we call the Surya-Mandala, or the Circle of the Sun. There is always a profound esoteric motive behind these Retreats; many forces combine to produce them. But beyond those forces there is actually a cosmic call, a cosmic necessity that precipitates the form of the Retreat. And the reason why we’re having it here in Germany is because of the Divine Plan of our Planetary Hierarchy, which is the Christ Hierarchy, also called the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Light. They are in charge of the planetary evolution and their plan is an ongoing plan that is unfolding according to a certain preordained pattern. Certain things take place in the world according to the will of the Hierarchy. For the next two or three years there will be an intensification of Light waves, or you could say of the energy patterns of the Hierarchy, across the continent of Europe. And this Retreat is the first input into that plan.

      We’re starting off this new wave with a high-frequency meditation technique: the Circle of the Sun Initiation. Normally an initiation process lasts a few hours, but the Circle of the Sun Initiation is actually longer because it is not possible to convey even one process of it, much less all the processes, in one regular initiation. It’s a cycle of work. Don’t be worried, therefore, if you don’t understand it after three weeks; you won’t be able to understand it even after three years or three lifetimes. What you can understand is the measure of it that you have inside you. The Light of your Soul will pick up some of it or as much of it as you have in your present evolutionary attainment. This particular technique of meditation has actually been the secret of secrets for thousands of years, normally given only to students with a high level of yogic attainment.

      The goal of Yoga has always been (and still is) union with the Soul, Self-Realization, regardless of which form of Yoga you practise. Now this science of the Circle of the Sun goes well beyond that. It was normally given to those who had attained a certain degree of union with the Soul and were working beyond that, moving toward the Absolute, that is, union with the Spirit, the Monad, the Divinity within. In other words, this science was only communicated to individuals at a certain high level of evolution, so I don’t expect you to understand all the material you are going to get. But each time you absorb some of it, it will awaken amazing possibilities inside you.

      I know that by now most of you realize that you are actually more than you appear to be. I presume that you realize you are a Spiritual Soul and have an eternal destiny. Now, where the Circle of the Sun material comes in is to define that destiny for you—the magnitude, the grandeur, the amazing vision of it. It tells you what it means to be a Spiritual Soul and the wonderful evolution possible for this planet.

      The cosmic timing is right. First of all, the Christ Hierarchy, or the Spiritual Hierarchy is bombarding Europe with some high-frequency Light vibration. With every new wave that comes out of the Spiritual Hierarchy there is a technique, and the best technique for this particular time is the Circle of the Sun; there is no higher technique or process. The technique is now given to us as a gift so that we can fulfil that destiny. If you understand this particular material correctly, treat it with reverence and do the practices correctly as often as you can, then each bit of it that you grasp will fill you with light, wisdom, compassion, understanding, intelligence and tremendous power and knowledge. It will transform you—and not just you but the School as well. After the New Zealand Retreat, when the first part of this material was given out, the auric energy field of our School was speeded up several spirals, and radiance and glory came into the School. This time it will be amplified ten times and the School will be ten times more effective, with ten times more radiance and power to serve Humanity.

      Evolution is moving on. What was happening six thousand years ago or two thousand years ago or even one thousand years ago is finished. Before 1875, the end of the Piscean Age, the teaching of the Hierarchy was to escape—to escape from the material dimension into Nirvana, the Kingdom of God. The message of religion was that the world was a terrible place with a lot of pain and suffering, so you should try to attain the Kingdom of God, where you will be eternally blissful. But things have changed and the message is no longer to escape. Now the idea is to bring in the Light of those other beautiful dimensions and actually transform this dimension.

      Those of you with spiritual vision may have seen that the four layers of the etheric part of this physical dimension are changing. They are actually changing according to a Cosmic Plan—an impulse from the Solar Logos—that is part of the destiny, or evolution, of our planet. When we work with the Circle of the Sun material, we change the etheric substances, or the primary ethers (the primary matter out of which everything physical was created), into sparks or waves of bright Light. This means that the Spiritual Hierarchy, through us and other agencies, is actually transforming the planet on the etheric level, and this will work itself out in the physical dimension.

      That means that while we’re doing this work our bodies are changing. If you compared your physical body with that of another person on the street, outwardly it would look the same but inwardly you’d see that your body is radiating out a different-frequency energy, one that is guided by the Light wave we are receiving from the Sun. The more we do this work, the more we’ll transform and the more will the body and energy field of our School transform. Wherever we are we will be radiating out those new energies into our environment. And this is where it becomes deeply profound: we’re not only changing ourselves and our School but also our own environment—our homes and workplaces. Everything around us will slowly be changed into this new divine energy pattern we are radiating out.

      When I introduced this work at the last retreat in New Zealand, I got positive feedback from everybody. People said they felt so much better afterwards, more integrated and harmonized. But beyond the registration on the personality level, there is a much deeper level of change—the actual transformation of your very essence on the physical dimension, as well as the transformation of your Soul. You will notice your immediate transformation on the physical level, but you will not be aware of the tremendous transformation you are undergoing as a spiritual entity. Each time you do this work, your aura will begin to expand, for each particular meditation has a direct link to the Solar Logos.

      This initiation process was given thousands of years ago to a great Indian Sage who had reached Cosmic Consciousness, which in those days was the highest possible evolutionary attainment for the human species. When he reached that level he received the Gayatri Mantra (the Circle of the Sun Mantra) from the Solar Logos Himself. But he was told that he could only give the Mantra to those who attained the same level of consciousness as he. For hundreds of years, therefore, only advanced people who had reached Self-Realization and understood the nature of the Cosmos were initiated. But over the centuries, the chain of initiation got fainter and fainter as the disciples were of lower and lower calibre, until now the Brahman priests utter this Mantra all the time like an ordinary prayer. The vast occult knowledge behind it, the tremendous Wisdom, Power and Love behind it got lost.

      The Hierarchy allowed it to be lost. But now there is a new dispensation: The Plan is to bring the Kingdom of God, the Divine Light World, the Imperishable Light, right down onto this physical level so that the physical dimension will be transformed.

      Soon people will begin to see inwardly and recognize that this physical dimension is an extension of the Kingdom of God. They will discover that it is a mirror of Nirvana, a reflection of the Original Light, which is in Nirvana. In other words, the atomic substance here will begin to vibrate at a very high, intense frequency and mirror the Light of Nirvana. It won’t be Nirvanic Light but it will be very potent, and the physical dimension will vibrate to a potency that at this stage is unbelievable because it will be directly reflecting the Kingdom of God.

      That’s the Divine Plan and the Plan of the Hierarchy. That is why we are allowed to use this amazing material and why I was instructed about how to use it and bring it back from its original source. Now this is only the physical history, but the inner history is actually quite amazing and glorious. It has to do with this new wave of energy coming to Europe and then to the world in the next few years. Energies are moving from continent to continent, circulating the planet, and each circulation brings in a new vibration. So in this Retreat, and in the next two or three, you will be getting a new energy wave.

      Whatever is happening is actually part of a divine dispensation. All of us are extraordinarily fortunate to be here. I know I always say that,
