Bad Boy Billy

About this ebook
When I was a young man there were a lot of BAD BOY BILLY's about and the girls were drawn like moths to a candle. I could never understand why . . . then perhaps I belonged to the male gender and male pheromones had no effect. These bad boys always had it made, could work miracles with a loose bit of oily hair and wonders with a leering grin. The response was infectious, I don't think these herds of women had much say at all, and suspect this was most probably something left over from our evolutionary past.
Anyway, sweet revenge was watching them all grow, bald, old and fat, and whoever ended up looking after them, had to do practically everything, including paying the bills.
So I let Billy loose on board a commuting train and watched what my imagination released.
I hope you like it; I had no idea what might turn up in the next paragraph and this story kept me fully entertained right up to the very last page.

**********(1)**********
It had been raining heavily again all night, everything looked wet outside and perhaps it might dry up later?
'So I will get wet again walking to the train station ... just like yesterday.'
Jenny McFarlane had to get a move on, she’d already slept in and you could blame the rain for that, it made inside all so cosy ... and Raymond was already making toast.
Her visit to the bathroom proved another disappointment, the toothpaste tube was empty, and the toilet wasn’t flushed and …
That horrible fat man sitting beside Jenny would not give an inch, ‘fat greedy bastard.’
Jenny McFarlane looked about the railway carriage, she knew most of these passengers’ faces, but nobody ever talked. ‘Yes we all sort of know each other … day in day out … and ... we know what clothes we own and know when something new has been purchased, like a new hairstyle, different fingernails ... yes we know a hell of a lot about each other actually ...yet we all like to pretend we don’t! Take those two Chinese girls, like we spend almost an hour each day facing one another but refuse to make any contact … now how crazy is that? Yes all they do is ... just scowling and frowning ... then start fiddling with their phones, now how unsocial is that. Once I did try, yes I tried to ... but they ignored me.
Gosh I hate Sydney ... what a big mistake it was coming down here. Back home I only had to walk down the street to Addams Real Estate where I worked, and now ... now flamin' expensive train fares, 40 minutes to work, and bloody ridiculous rents ... and all this unsociable lot to deal with twice a day. And what a flat-mate this Raymond Parker turned out to be, he's nothing like his predecessor that bogan Herb Butler the motor mechanic; and what about his weird collection of action figures, yes, I’m glad he’s gone at long last.
No … this Raymond bloke’s so smooth; … yes Raymond knows where it’s all at. Likes to be seen in suits he does ... and that girlfriend, she looks like a super model ... or a porn star, well she always makes me look like …’
The next station load pushed their way aboard … and now this carriage was fully packed and a lot of people had to stand. Packed with people whose faces she knew and they knew her and … 'and we are all playing pretending-not-to-see-you-again.'
That fat bastard sitting beside Jenny beside just farted and … then pretended it wasn’t him.
‘Well I’ll just pretend to give his fat arm — a push off my side of the seat.’
And he didn’t like it, "Excuse me woman … don’t you dare touch me again!"
"Look mate! I don’t have any wish at all to actually touch you, I just want my share of this seat back thank you very much."
The fat-greedy-bastard used his body mass against Jenny leaving her squeezed up against the window and … then … he farted again.
"Look fat-man, I think it’s time for you to get up and change carriages." A wild looking fellow with blue eyes and oily spiky hair standing in the aisle ... suddenly — grabbed the fat-greedy-bastard by the left ear — then pulled him right out of the seat … and directed this protesting blob towards the doorway then — kicked him through it.
The standing passengers made a pathway as he swaggered back and then claimed the empty seat.
"Gees … what a stink, I hope that wasn’t you doll? Boy is that ripe?"
Jenny pushed her red face against the cold window and closed her eyes shut.
The day dragged on and on and Jenny watched the clock while she typed. The morning had been busy, lots of phone calls and when you are working in Real Estate … that’s always expected.
‘Noelene’s relieving me for lunch and perhaps that nice dress is still waiting at Myers?’
The trip home was an improvement on the morning’s commute.
This time a student with music coming out of his ears sat beside her and flicked through his e-mails.
‘And that nice dress at Myers, bloody wrong size it was, my size was sold out.’
The sun was out again, everything outside her window was still wet but ... 'At least I won't get wet again walking from the station. Now Raymond gets in late today and Susan goes to dance practice tonight … so that means the unit’s all completely mine for a couple of hours.’
**********(1)**********
After another morning fight with Raymond over toilet flushing Jenny McFarlane was in the worst of moods.
'At least I have my window seat; I wonder where that fat-greedy-bastard is sitting right now? Well pity help who’s alongside him?’ Jenny’s seat remained empty but that would all change at the next station when that noisy crowd arrived.
The two Chinese girls who always sat opposite looked a touch nervous, you get to know all these subtle, signals ... tiny little indicators of moods and dispositions. 'They weren’t scowling like they usually do, so I wonder what has happened?'
The train lurched to a stop and on they came … that same old mixture of noisy schoolkids and the working public arrived all eager to find a seat.
And there he was, that wild looking blue-eyed brute from yesterday. 'He certainly looks a hunk, reckon about three years younger then me, perhaps more? An Alpha male all right, dark spiky hair and only wearing a T-shirt and ... it's kind of cold today, just a T-shirt and jeans without a belt ... jeans that look ready to fall off at any minute, and his wallet in the back pocket is almost falling out! And ... get a load of his boots, bloody cowboy boots!'
"No mate that seat is taken mate" protested the young man looking up from his cell phone, … the brute — yanked out this 'somebody' with pimples and then — plonked down beside Jenny.
"Well Doll, so you’ve dumped that fat farting boyfriend, well good for you."
The two Chinese girls opposite were elated! A real life Manga Hero had suddenly arrived into their lives ... a cheeky champion ready and willing to beat up any stray punk that approached their space.
Jenny fixed her gaze on the window.
Well, if you don't like me sitting here . . . then I’ll go and find fart-boy for you?
Jenny squirmed in her seat.
Look Doll, just chill out a little, like now tell me ... what do you think of my new boots? Do you girls like 'em?
The two Chinese shook their heads then covered their faces and giggled.
"See Doll, they know they’re sort of special and what about the Cuban heels? What do you reckon girls, do you really like these heels?"
More giggles and more nodding of heads.
"Well that’s done me for a while, I’m having a nap … now girls … hands off the merchandise while I’m having my rest, yes I had far too much heavy loving last night … must have my beauty sleep …"
Miss McFarlane, I will be out with clients up till 2:00 pm and tell Mr Hocking to expect a call from that couple after the Redfern semi-detached.
Mr Daniels looked at his watch then raced out the door.
Jenny smiled her hardest then
