    Materials

    •½ sheet stiff 7-count plastic canvas

    •Red Heart Super Saver Art. E300 medium weight yarn as listed in color key

    •#16 tapestry needle

    •2 inches (5.1cm) 6mm white chenille stem

    •Hot-glue gun

    Cutting & Stitching

    1. Cut plastic canvas according to graphs (pages 2 and 3).

    2. Stitch chimney sides, reversing one before stitching. Chimney front and back will remain unstitched.

    3. Stitch remaining pieces following graphs, working uncoded areas on cottage and extension walls with white Continental Stitches. Do not stitch blue Whipstitch lines on cottage left wall and base.

    4. When background stitching is completed, work spring green Straight Stitches for bushes.

    Cottage Assembly

    1. Using green tones throughout, Overcast top edges of all front and back walls. Overcast top edges of all right and left walls from blue dot to blue dot.

    2. Using spring green, Whipstitch bottom edge of cottage left wall to wrong side of base along blue Whipstitch line on base, placing right side of wall toward extension end.
