- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really liked reading this book because the text was well written and easy to understand. I also want to point out that the text was of larger print and would make this an easy read for children as well. I also like that all of the pictures that are in the book are pictures of children which will help children to relate to what they are reading. For example, on page 17 there is a picture with children running across a finish line and the caption reads, "The respiratory system brings oxygen to all parts of our body." Where it is positioned in the book, children would be able to draw the inference that oxygen will help them to be more active. The big idea of this book is to help children understand what breathing is and why it is essential to our every day life.
