About this ebook

I wrote this book because I wanted to share my life story, not just to one person but with everyone. As we all know everyone has a story, well this is my story. It reflects my years growing up, my entire struggle, my ups and downs, my hard ships, and many family differences. And just like a lot of you who can we talk to, that will be able to help and be there for you, no one, so on your own you go, looking for answers, searching for help encountering obstacles one after the other a never ending journey as your faced with life. You find yourself getting older and still your life is not balanced, and this is when you want to give up. But Im asking you not to, dont let family, or friends, or work, or any material things stop you from finding what you are searching for because at the end of the day you are stuck with yourself. And do you want to be a disappointment to yourself, absolutely not, you get enough disappointments from others, so therefore you keep moving on, you dont give up, and youve come too far so dont stop now.

I was born in a small village, call diamond village, that’s in the Caribbean island of Trinidad, known as the island of Trinidad and Tobago. I am the second of five children. I was not born into any wealth or riches’ my father had to work very hard to take care of us which he did. I remembered, as a little boy growing up, I went to school every day. My father went to work and my mother stayed at home.

I loved going to school because I was always trying to learn new and different things, as well as, there is where I would spend most of my time and be with my friends. Back then pitching marbles was the big thing, so waiting for the school bell to ring for our fifteen minutes recess and our one hour lunch break was a big thing for me. Also we had a little parlor at school so we can buy little snacks and if we did not have any money we would get stuff on credit. Well off cause I was always over spending so my parents would always a bill to pay for me. And yes I would get in trouble every time but I kept doing it because all my friends were doing it.

Then as time went on and I got a little older, now I’m around twelve years old, on the way home from school my friends and I would make stops at the river and go swimming before we go home. The only problem I had was that little old lady that watches everything, my grandmother, she was a little old mean woman always getting me in trouble with my father. She would just sit out on the porch smoking her cigarettes and watching what time I get home and which of my friends is with me. And then there were all the other parents and grandparents who know my parents that would come to our house to tell on us, where they saw us and what we were doing. Sometimes my father would already know that I did something wrong before he gets home because he
