About this ebook
She was taken as a baby.
The King and Queen are not what they seem,
From a baby, to a toddler, to a youth, to a teen.
Although mistreated, neglected and ignored,
She has all the riches in the world and much much more.
Still it seems this is not enough,
It's love she wants, not all the stuff.
As she grows into a beautiful young lady,
She becomes more wise and realise people are acting rather shady.
She starts to see she is not the same,
But will she find her true self again?

Scene One
SKU-000615653_EBOOK_FQA.pdfYOUNG FEMALE stood centre stage; she is childlike and innocent holding a book.
Lights are dim, with a green spot light on YOUNG FEMALE.
YOUNG FEMALE: Look… Look… (Takes a few steps forward).
Look into my eyes, (closes eyes) too late (she opens them and giggles).
Do you want to go on a journey? (Smile) I’ll take you on a journey, a magical, inspiring, sad, happy, adventurous, self discovering journey. Watch this (clicks her finger).
Can you hear it (no sound) listen… listen carefully.
Sounds of people in the village start to increase; talking, laughter, people working, babies crying, children playing and running around shouting - lights start to come up slowly. As YOUNG FEMALE exits to the side of the stage and watches her surroundings change, VILLAGE PEOPLE (VP) enter from different sides- humming an African song. The VP is now creating a society in front of the audience visually through movement and gesture. Whilst VP still humming quietly, YOUNG FEMALE walks back centre stage amazed. The Villagers start to mime.
YOUNG FEMALE: This is where it all started. (She looks around and smiles). Look, over there. That’s where we all go after school; you see that open space, old looking car park? There. We should really go home straight after school- you know like our parents say, but we don’t. (She giggles). I know, I know… But it’s a… it’s a… a special place, a place where we talk, play and have fun. To be honest I really look forward to going there after school, you know seeing all my friends and a place just to escape from all the worries, wars and fighting that’s going on at the moment. (She sighs, takes a deep breath and points). You see that small building? That’s the local church; we go there every Sunday
