Subtle yet powerful
I never thought there would be a day where my private words would become public words. For as long as I can remember, I had always kept a journal of my thoughts, a notepad with doodles, and a phone that had so many notes, you’d think that I was talking to someone other than myself. My journals held many memories, plenty of them too painful for me to re-visit, but I kept them stashed away for safekeeping.
I had always dreamed of sharing my words with others in an intimate way that even I wouldn’t be able to back out of. After years of pondering, a lot of back and forth, here we are. My words have made it to a home other than my own. I hope that you will connect to my pieces, maybe even learn something from them.
I tell myself It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey
because that is exactly what life is. The journey to this point has been intense, but I know that this is not the destination. I am so thankful for the opportunity to share my journey with you, as it is a trip and a path that I am excited to take.
There is still more road to explore and I can’t wait.
