A heater. Usually this is a basking light that hangs above their tank, at one end.

Light tubes that are as long as the tank is. They also hang at the top.

You’ll need thermometers, to be sure it is always warm enough for your pet, everywhere in their tank. Or cool enough.

Three hides. These are places they go to rest or sleep.

A water bowl, big enough to drink out of or take a dip!

    A food dish.

The right substrate. This is what goes on the floor of their new home.

Calcium and vitamins they need to stay strong and have a long healthy life. These are called supplements.

Live insects and insect worms. That’s all leopard geckos eat! Find out which kinds in this book.
