About this ebook

First they ignore you,
Then they laugh at you,
Then they fight you,
. . . Then you WIN.
Mahatma Gandhi

You will come to know who BBD is only when you come to know who you are. In handling that challenge, BBD invites you to learn what you can from his life events and to recognize that it is meaningful only to the extent that it points you in the direction of learning more about yourselves.

This work is collation of random thoughts, events in life, and reader may find episodes of vidhwa vilap (wail of a widow) from an enigmatic, diabolical, and vicious split personality full of contradictions of a megalomaniac and overall devil incarnate.

O Ishan, I pray you, the one who is the LORD of all, an eternal nirvana – bliss, resplendent, omnipresent and is all Vedas in totality. I adore you who is without change, passionless, immeasurable. I bow prostrate to you who is without in the framework of form or shape, font of all sounds and is the fourth impersonal state of atman, who is beyond the scope of tongue, knowledge and all organs of senses. You, the LORD of Himalayas who is fierce, even the destroyer of kaal, a benevolent, abode of qualities and beyond the universe. I bow to you who is profound, in the minds of all living beings. Font of Immense splendor and wealth, shining forehead font of playful and enticing GANGES, with a crescent moon and garland of King Cobra in the neck, you are my LORD. Blue throat, benevolent, skull-cup garland, you are the dearest among all LORDS to everyone. I adore the Bavanipati, who is fierce, immense brave, mature beyond everyone, indivisible, unborn, resplendent like millions of SUN, who manage kama, moksha, moha and makes us dispassionate, holding a trident and can be approached by all and sundry. Auspicious, cause and end of the universe, o LORD please provide me enough courage and eternal bliss minus ignorance, abundant passion. I simply do not know formal way of puja, jap, prayer, still I am bowing continuously. Save me from rebirth, grief, sins and give abundant courage to reinforce the belief of Satyamev Jayate.

My quest to produce a work of fiction was ignited by Shri Suneel Saxena, the then Chief of Information Technology Department of Prathama Bank – the first Regional Rural Bank of India. Sushma my daughter in law who herself is an artist – a daughter and wife of a fauzi - gave the idea and encouragement to make writing a habit, and my both sons Rahul and Abhishek made their best efforts to keep me engaged in giving its final shape. Bhai Jagdish Sharma ji my professional senior extended much needed support, which a probationer needs.

I am lucky to be connected to such people who kept the flame burning. I would like to acknowledge some of them.

Various authors in the media whose views and words have been used in various ways to prove the points of my perception of incidents, events and accidents. I do acknowledge each and every person with utmost respect and regards, who made impact in my life.

Late Pt. Harinath Pathak ji, my family is still known by his name – who was a great saint of his time and authored LALIT RAMAYAN.

Late Pt. Nand Kumar Pathak ji and Late Pt. Bhagwat Pathak ji my grand fathers who were poles apart on their views in my upbringing as a school boy. The former was not much interested in type of schooling; while the latter was strongly in favour of the existing procedure.

Baboo ji Late Pt. Krishnadeo Pathak, who was very critical of my way of writings and was upset as I never came up to his expectations. I was always shielded of his wrath by my mother Late Govindi Devi.

Aacharya Chanakya of the then Pataliputra and OSHO – Acharya Rajnish of the modern era - who had great influence in my life and thoughts.

My candyfloss Urmila, Ms Mary – my professional astrologer.

Ms Kathy Lorenzo my advisor consultant from the Publishing house. We have a very strange relationship. Proper counselling by her – but fights and unwarranted irritating response from me. Such relationships are made in this planet only.

I hope I do not disappoint you, my reader with this very first effort made by me.

f This is a collation of easy-going glimpses of instances, incidents, accidents which made impact on soul and mind of the author.

f What is narrated here is neither meant to be factually correct, nor have any intension to influence views or perception of the reader.

f This is not an academic work and does not claim to be authoritative.
