    Introduction

I want this book to build in you an unusual boldness and I pray it stirs up the greatness in you. It is time to walk up to the reality of your existence.

In this book we examine the early stage of the life of David the son of Jesse, the Bethlehemite. How David rose from a nobody to somebody, from rags to riches, from grass to grace; but, not without a serious fight against deliberate oppositions that was against his lifting.

We take a glimpse into the life of Joseph, the eleventh son of Jacob, who without his doing was sold into slavery in the better part of his life. Despite all oppositions, God’s divine destiny was only delayed and not denied. He made it from prison to the palace.

Esther; a member of hated minority race, bereft of parents, without any material legacy, living in exile in a foreign land, untutored by formal education, Esther had been reared and trained by her older cousin Mordecai. In God’s providence, this teenage orphan was thrust into the royal court of Persia.

A man or woman of destiny will cause a shifting in the natural and spiritual, where God puts down one and uplifts the other, all in purpose to fulfilling destiny.

This book will help you on how to handle manipulations that may want to destroy your destiny. Please note that there are forces within and without that are working against the fulfillment of God’s purpose for your life.

It is my prayer that these tools will help you equip you because you are born to triumph. Turn your obstacles into opportunities and use them as a stepping stone. Turn yourself loose today and position yourself for greatness.

You were born a winner not a loser, a victor not a victim. I encourage you not to give up, don’t settle in the valley, locate your mountain. I urge to have an encounter with God. An encounter with God is encounter with destiny.

Don’t give up, God is on your side, you are closer than you think.

    Rise from obscurity to oblivion.

    Chapter 1

    DEFINITION OF DESTINY

Whatever is set apart finds its fulfilment in what it is dedicated to

To avoid confusion and to aid proper understanding. I will want to explain these words: destine, destiny, and destination. The word destine means to set apart, decide, or ordain in advance. The equivalent word for destine is consecration. Consecration has two parts vice: to set apart and to dedicate to. It is not enough to set apart a person or an object without dedicating that person or object to something. Whatever is set apart finds its fulfilment in what it is dedicated to. Destiny is usually a passive word, that is, to an extremely high degree the object has no choice to dictate or say this is what I must become. It is the issue of the clay in the hands of the potter.

    20. Nay, but O man, Who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

    21. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? [Romans 9KJV]

Despite Jeremiah’s effort to convince God that he was not qualified to be a prophet, he was forced to embrace what he was destined to become. It is frustrating for any man to change God’s original intention for his life. Man is to become what he has been created to become.

    5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations [Jeremiah 1.KJV]

It is needless and frustrating for any one to alter God’s original intention for his life

Formation will always precede coming forth. What has not been formed can not come forth. The forthcoming of any man is to proof the extent of his formation. Every man is special. Every man is uniquely made by God to do a work prepared in advance. Nobody is a product of circumstances. No one is here by accident. The situations that surrounded your birth do not matter. Are you a product of adultery, or fornication? Solomon was one! Are you a product of harlotry? Jephthah the Gileadite was one. Did you grow up in an orphanage? Great man, Morris Cerullo was from orphanage. So, you are carefully framed and formed by God in your mother’s womb to execute a predetermined assignment.

    14. …for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:… [Psalm 139]

The second word, destiny, means both the power that foreordains and power believed to control events. God is omnipotent and omniscience. He knows the end from the beginning and nothing takes Him unaware.

    10. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do
