About this ebook
I am 57 years young I was married for 18 years to a wonderful man whom I loved very much we were best friends, parents, grandparents, business partners, ministry partners and lovers until God saw fit to call him home. I became a young widow with three daughters and a two year old grandlove, and a number of extended grandlovez who call me NaNa as well.
I've worked in childcare for over 35 years and I've learned and grown through the journey and watching them grow has been a blessing especially when you've and taught momma's and daddy's and their children I feel honored and blessed and I've loved it.
This book was written as an encouragement because life happens on a daily basis and I love to journal my life progress to look back and see if I'm growing properly or just existing and my life journal pages keeps me focused, grounded and reminded where I was and where I'm going with "NO REGRETS"

Chapter One
Family Matters: Matters of the Heart
What’s your definition of family?
It’s blood or those who you have welcomed in to be a part of your family, life and heart.
Growing up all I knew was God, family and always help others out, that’s what life to me was all about. My parents taught us and they lived it and I watched and learned how important faith in God and your family was. There were other things that were important but those two were at the top of the list. They never allowed anyone to be left out and that’s why we have so many extended family members because they treated everyone the same, as I think back on both of their funerals people would come and share so many things that they had done for them from encouragement to giving of time and money. They knew no strangers if you came to the house once you automatically became family. Our house was the big house on the corner where everybody came and was welcomed growing up was so much fun; Sundays were like holidays and there was always enough food. Holidays were like fireworks on the fourth of July and if you didn’t have family there was always room at our family table.
As I think back on those days growing up momma had a way of making us all feel special it was five of us siblings. She loved us all the same and she always knew when one of us needed special attention or if one of us was having a issue and trying to act as if everything was okay, she would say what’s wrong Leigh Leigh
, and I would say nothing
but before I would leave her house to go home we would sit down and talk about it and I would feel so much better. She always had a way to just know, that’s called the mother instinct that’s a gift from God, because all mothers don’t have it. So if you are blessed to feel when your children are experiencing something and trying to act like nothing is wrong and the Lord pricks your heart and tells you exactly what to say and how to say it that’s a God given honor, a lot of women can have babies but it takes a special woman to be a mother even if you didn’t give birth and God placed his hand on you to be a mother that’s a powerful thing and I don’t take it lightly or for
