    Introduction

    Cancer is one of the conditions included in the group of illnesses referred to as terminal illness. This illness is so dreaded that many persons would rather not know of their affliction by it. Currently, there are reports of some physicians refusing to inform their patients that the symptoms of their illness are that of cancer.

    The fact is that cancer is not necessarily a terminal illness and is treatable with a view to recovery at whatever stage identified. However, this treatment must include the correct nutrition that nourishes the body, boost the immune system, and inhibit cancer growth. It is important to note that in the case of cancer patients, large volumes or high dosages of the relevant nutrients are extremely important. Large volumes replenish deficits and sustain rapid utilization for healing and recovery.

    Cancer, in most cases, is an example of one becoming seriously ill because of what one excludes from one’s diet. Once you include these foods in the diet, especially in high doses, the body gets a chance to heal itself. While medical treatment for any illness, including cancer, is necessary, important, eating the right foods is equally important to correct defects. In the case of cancer, supplements formulated from natural products are of paramount importance for recovery. This book explains in-depth, simple terms, the kind of diet cancer patients must have if they wish to recover.

    CANCER

    Cancer, otherwise known as a malignant tumour, is the abnormal and uncontrolled growth of body cells. Cancer is not receptive to usual signals to stop reproducing or normal apoptosis. In most cases, it starts with uncontrol cell growth forming a lump. While dividing rapidly and destroying other cells, it spreads to other body parts, obstructing body functions. Like many other diseases, cancer gradually develops over many years in response to factors such as environment, nutrition, and heredity, among other factors.

    The cause of most malignancy is unknown. However, persons exposed to some types of chemicals, smoking, excessive consumption of alcohol, constipation, innate genetics and some forms of viruses are at higher risk of developing cancer.
