Don't Trust in Miracles or the Miracle Workers
()
About this ebook
Consider this scenario; you have two preachers/evangelists standing before you, each one with a different gospel message. One preacher/evangelist is able to do miracles of healing and promises prosperity, the other does not do miracles. Which one will draw the most people? Which one will people believe? Which message would most of the people would want to hear? A. the preacher/evangelist who does and promises miracles and perhaps for healing or prosperity, or B. the preacher/evangelist who calls on the people to “repent for the kingdom of God is at hand”? The answers to these questions are obvious – the miracle worker wins.
Why did Jesus do miracles? Seemingly for two reasons; he had compassion on those who were suffering (Matthew 9:36), and to demonstrate that he spoke YHVH God’s words with YHVH God’s authority (John 10:38).
Our natural inclination would be to think that the one that is doing miracles is able to do it because, as we figure, God is the source of the miracles, therefore God must be with the miracle worker, or at least they have God’s approval and blessings, right?. And that may be logical conclusion, but, I will show you that just the opposite may often be true.
Miracles are great and if you get one, embrace it, enjoy it and praise YHVH God, but be cautious for some attached strings, a false teachings or understanding which is contrary to what Jesus spoke and YHVH’s words in the Scriptures.
Miracles do not validate a speaker, or a religion, nor do they indicate that speaker or the religion has Divine favor. Miracles are often to test of our faith, as I will show you.
So, when we see a miracle, hear of a miracle or experience a miracle be careful on how you understand it, so that you are not deceived as many are. As it says in the Gospels and the Book of the Revelation a false religious person will do signs and wonders (13:13) and as a result ‘all the world is deceived’. And I will explain why that is.

Please Note: In the original Hebrew manuscripts God’s sacred name was the Hebrew equivalent of ‘YHVH’ sometimes pronounced ‘Yahoveh’, ‘Jehoveh’, ‘Yahweh’, and others. Because of the sacredness of God’s name it was removed from non-Hebrew versions of the Bible and in the English Bibles it was substituted with the phrase, ‘the LORD’. Within the Bible verses I quote in this book I have restored God’s sacred name for educational purposes.
Throughout the Scriptures we are told to call on the name of YHVH in prayer, praise, thanksgiving, and worship. We are honor that name with great respect. Joel 3:23 says, And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of YHVH shall be saved.
THE PREFACE
The Premise for this Book; It is my understanding that YHVH (Yahoveh) words in the Holy Scriptures, and the authority of those words supersede all other authorities, including religious instruction, church doctrines, creeds, writings and church teachings. And Jesus spoke YHVH God’s words with YHVH’s authority, according to Deuteronomy 18:18-19, Acts 3:22-23, 7:37, John 12:49, 14:10 making him YHVH’s anointed prophet (‘Messiah’ in the Hebrew language and ‘Christ’ in the Greek language) and that’s why Jesus said that we be judged according to how we keep his words (John 12:47-48), if we kept his words we would see life eternal (Matthew 7:24-25, John 6:63, John 14:23-24) and if we don’t keep his words we will not see life (Matthew 7:26-27, John 8:51). His word is YHVH’s word.
All ‘truth seekers’ must be willing to honestly compare what their church teaches to the written words of YHVH God. After comparing them, the truth seekers are willing to abandon their church teachings where they are in conflict with what Jesus or YHVH God spoke. And all who are willing to do that are those who have passed through the Narrow gate and are now on the Narrow way leading to eternal life. If they are faithful until death, they will be welcomed into God’s kingdom.
THE INTRODUCTION
Do you believe in miracles? Miracles do happen and people are blessed by them. Some people receive miraculously healings, or experience some other unexplainable super natural events. Technically, we all experience miracles of one sort or another. Creation, birth and life are often considered miracles that everyone has in common. However, the miracles that I reference in this book are supernatural events and can’t be explained by science, logic or reason.
What should concern us the most are the miracles, fake or real, that are used to lead people astray with some false gospel. That false gospel is often linked to a money making scheme, such as the prosperity gospel
