Only a purohita can sanction remedy is a myth. Everyone with disciplined and satwik life style is eligible to practice, perform, and follow divine procedures. Yes, for Sadhana especially relating to Dasha Maha Vidya or any other Tantric rituals, or certain Beeja mantras, a proper guidance from a right (not self - proclaimed Yogis, Gurus, Siddhas, Vachaspati etc.) Guru is definitely a must. No such extreme procedures are recommended here in this work.

This work is perfectly in tune with scriptures for remedial measures by common man. The remedies given here are tested and confirmed for sure to get relief. Though certain karmas have no remedies, by performing the remedies scheduled here have given major relief.

A few days of practice will make a person perfect in performing remedies given here. There are brief Homa procedures on internet. It can be learnt with little efforts.

Unless disabled either physically or mentally, it is better to perform remedies by themselves. Those who really cannot perform due to physical and mental problems, may need help of Purohits or learned to perform on behalf of them.

1.Dashanga Yuktha Jeeva

Pachanga

The Vara Lord representing Bhava by lordship and position.

3.Nakshatra

The Moon Lagna lords Bhavadhipathya from Lagna and his position.

4.Yoga

The sign where the yoga point (for Sun count from Pushyami to the placement of Sun. For Moon take from Shravana till Moon and the sum total ( - 360 if greater than) will give yoga point.

That become yoga Lagna.

The Yoga Lord representing houses from Lagna and also by his position.

5.Karna

The Half the Thithi portion falling in a sign becomes Karna point. This sign lord holding Bhavadhipathya counting from Lagna and his position from Lagna.

Kalanga

1.Lagna

Two hours period of a Lagna

The disposition of Lagna lord (his other Adhpatya if any) and where he is posited.

2.Hora

One - hour period of Planetary hour i. e. Hora for that day.

Venus and Moon are common in both Pachanga and Kalanga

Venus as Lord of 3rd and 10th in 6th Indicating past deeds of with regard to brother, and self - sickness, enmity factors are predominant to suffer in this life. Neither Moon, nor Venus fall in the Group of Lagna. They are in opposition group.

Jupiter being Lord of 5th and 8th in Lagna should be good but being with Rahu becomes a sinful planet making native to suffer with regard to 5th matters and 8th representing family of spouse matters (being 2nd to 7th).

Rahu takes over Jupiter – and makes her illusional about her materialistic life.

Sun is in same group being lord of Lagna, Mercury as lord of 2/11 in 5th with Lagna Lord making Mercury helpful to Lagna. Saturn is in Mercury House – Therefore, despite belonging to opposition group. Saturn and Mercury are helpful, in the line of Divine path.

In this Chart Rahu in Lagna is thr main planet to be remedies along with. Jupiter, Mars in Lagna. Sun and Mercury are in 5th. Only these planets need remedies. Due to dispositor the Mercury allows Saturn to have remedy. In this, Sun, Saturn, Rahu, Mercury and Mars are Krura planets who spoils the Bhava. Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Mercury as Lords needs remedy. As Karaka Jupiter, Mars, Sun and Mercury needs remedies. Since Rahu is predominant connecting all these planets as Jupiter with Rahu effect reflecting on Sun and Mercury, and with 7th aspect links Ketu. All the planets in between them are automatically fall under Sarpa Dosha. Sarpa Dosha Puja is primary requirement.

The Relationship of Planets

The planets have Friends, Equals and Enemies. Equals are competitors and give challenges. Below the table is for easy reference.

The friendship and enmity are referred to assess the strength of their Soumya and Krura nature. The shading of planet in the cruel group is the order of Cruelty. The italics shaded Mer and Moo are subject to their chart position can either be Krura or Soumya.

Friends in the planet under stufy support compatible meaning. If they are not friendly with the matter, then the obstructions can be resolved by remedies to them.

Equals despite not amicable for the matter of the main planet, will throw a challenge to face and then support the matter. The competition or challenges shall be hard if the matter under examination is an opposing to the matter signified by Equals.

Enemies are unstable because they are nice with the items suggested by the planets. Remedies should work on such an enemy planet. Otherwise, the enemies kill the matter and any cure does not cause it to be favorable, but it may minimize the negative effect

The lords of the Bhava have friends and enemies based on their two different natures called Sura andAsura group. The same is given below.

3.Bhava Influenced by Soumya

Soumya Planets

JUP, VEN, MOO (greater than 72° from Sun), MER alone or not associated with Krura, and the Lagna Lord considered as Soumya. (Provided that they are not debilitated, or influenced by cruel planets by sitting in their signs)

Strengths

What they indicate

No remedies required for Soumya planets that are not influenced by Krura or become weak, they positively influence the good effects of Bhava

Most important: All remedies done here has a prerequisite condition to perform Puja and Prana pratishatapana for the Chart of the Native. That is the Native chart should be drawn in copper sheet and kept in the puja. Example is given in the Remedies section.

Eclipsed by Nodes Irrespective of Krura or Soumya

Sarpa Navagraha Puja:

1.For eclipsed Soumya or Krura planet (Rahu or Ketu approaching in the same sign or in immediate next sign to Node)

2.If a Planet is in the star of Nodes. Or if Rahu Ketu is in the star of a Planet.

3.If planets are in between Rahu and Ketu or Ketu and Rahu and the immediate next to Node sign is occupied by a planet.

4.For the planet who is Dispositor of Nodes or the planet who aspects Nodes.

5.Planets are with Rahu and establishes connection with planets in other bhavas by Aspect, exchange or through Dispositor. (For example, Jupiter, Mars Rahu are in Simha. Jupiter aspects Dhanush, Kumbha and Mesha, Mars aspects Vrishchika, Kumbha, Meena. Rahu has trine sambhandha Simha Dhanush Mesha. If planets are posited in these signs, there shall be Sarpa Dosha.

6.Any planet who is a Dispositor of Gulika also needs special Gulika Puja and if linked to Rahu and Ketu the Sarpa Dosha Puja and Gulika Puja both to be performed.

Sarpa Puja: Once in every 18 years during Sun transiting on Nodes. Select the week days of Planets involved.

Graha Shanti: If that planet is lord of 2 - 3 - 6 - 8 - 11 - 12 - 7 (other not being Kona)

Special Remedial Measure for

Rahu Ketu

When Rahu or Ketu is posited in 1st or 3rd or 8th, 4th or 7th or 10th or 5th or 9th and at least one planet is situated in 2nd to either Rahu or Ketu (counting anti clock - wise) or if any one out of Jupiter, Saturn, Moon is with either Rahu or Ketu as the case may be the Sarpa Dosha is considered.

That is because

If Rahu or Ketu is in 1st or 3rd or 8th, the 2nd house anti clock wise becomes 12th or 2nd or 7th the Maraka houses and a planet sitting in those houses becomes Maraka

If a Rahu is in 4th or 7th or 10th the 2nd house anti clock wise to them is 3rd or 6th or 11th the Upachaya stana and the Graha in Upachaya stana which is progressive place is being approached by Rahu or Ketu.

If in 5th Rahu or Ketu is afflicting the Punya and the Planet in 4th gets affliction to spoil the health of the native due to lack of Purva Punya, because 4th is 11th (Roga stana) from 6th house. The health may have direct link to mental conditions.

If in 9th Rahu or Ketu is afflicting the Dharma and the 2nd to is 8th the Papa stana, Ayurbhava and also chronic diseases. A planet here will get the affliction of Rahu and may cause troubles due to sin, dangers and chronic diseases.

Remedies

Once in 6 Months When sun enters Rahu or Ketu

Sarpa Graha Puja and Graha Shanti for planets involved as above.

After Sarpa Graha Puja Visit Kshetra as given below

4.Bhava Influenced by Krura

Krura Planets

SAT, SUN, RAH, MAR, KET, MOO (less than 72° from Sun either side) and MER associated

Fundamental qualities of Krura:

Saturn – is Karma Phala Data – He is the guide for Jeeva to enchant right Journey and hence he gives all the effects of past karma so that the Jeeva can relinquish the debts in this Birth.

(De - linking, Displeasure, Difficulties, Dangers, Diseases, Debts, Doubts, Debacle, Depressions are a few destructive effects on Bhava)

Rahu – Indicates the Eclipsed Nature of Truth, Religiousness, Discipline, Delink, Foreign, & Sin factors

Sun – is a truth and does not support any material and bondage factors. Delinking is natural phenomenon of Atma the Sun. Being a governing planet he does impose strictness and punishments.

Mars and Ketu – Fights and disputes, Injuries

Mer and Moo – Stupidity and Wrong thoughts.

Definition of Influence

Conjunct (posited), Exchange, Aspects, Hemming, being in the sign of a planet (influencing the sign lord who is dispositor) or being in 2, 12, 4, 8 and 5 9 to a Bhava.

Extended Krura Planets:

JUP, VEN, MER, MOO when owns 6 or 8 or 12 with another house being 3 - 11 (any of one of these houses), will also act like following Krura.

Effect on Bhava When these planets influence a Bhava will destruct the positive effects of the Bhava.

If More than one cruel planet in its sign then the Dispositors of Cruel Planet may become a strong cruel and cause very bad effects of the Bhava.

If a cruel planet is weak due to placement in enemy sign or debilitated degrees the results of the Bhavas signified by planet of its lordship, occupation and aspect will be negative and the no good relating to that Bhava can be experienced.

Note: the 6th lord gives Diseases, Enmity and Tensions. The 8th Lord may cause fear complex, insults, difficulties, accidents, death like situations. The 12 Lord will give displacement, de - link, hospitalization, loss. When they are placed in Kona the personal development factors, relationships and right material comforts gets afflicted. If they are influencing 4th and 10th Kendra they create mental tensions, discomforts, fall from position, ill - fame. In the 7th Kendra they create delinking factors from partners, spouse, society and deprive independence. In houses other than Kendra or Kona, they tend to create disputes, litigations, diseases dangers and even death.

Though the Soumya as lord of 6 8 12 are not separately included in Krura planets in Bhava Analysis separately the remedies are given at the end of Bhava Analysis.

A.Dispositors of Cruel planet influencing a Bhava

If having cruel planet or planets in any one of its signs the sign lord though being Soumya (i. e. Jupiter, Venus, Mercury or Moon) will behave similar to the cruel planets. This Soumya planet is called Dispositors of Cruel Planet.

As Dispositors of a cruel planet a Soumya planet will harm the signification of the Bhava through his influence.

Exemption: If a Soumya planet is in his own sign along with cruel he cannot become the dispositor of cruel planet as he is the host for the cruel planet.

As Dispositors of cruel patent a cruel planet will create havoc for the signification of the Bhava by his influence.

The Soumya as dispositor of Krura is not separately shown in Bhava Analysis as they behave like Krura. At the end of Bhava Analysis, the remedies for them is given separately.

B.When there is influence of Both

Krura and Soumya the effects are both good and bad that will be experienced during their period. However, in the overall Bhava analysis the total effect of Krura and Soumya both needs to be assessed. Generally, it is said that the planets will deliver their results of the bhava which they influence during their period. However, this depends upon the dignity the planet gets in Dasha periods. Overall the effect good over bad or vice versa will have impact in results through Dasha Bhukti planets.

C.Dispositor of Gulika will also act like cruel especially if the dispositor is placed in Papa or Ati Papa houses.

The dispositor of Gulika change the quality original nature of the sign lord. for example, if a planet is Ati Shubha or Shubha, Gulika may turn him to be Papa or Ati Papa and if the same is posited in the house belonging to Ati Shubha or Shubha, there can be material benefits but there can be health and relational issues. If it is posited in Papa or Ati papa houses, then this may create very serious problems especially for personal, relational and disease factors.

Note : The Bhava Analysis is the Crucial Process in Astrology. Approximately 75% of prediction depends upon the correct Bhava analysis in deriving the definite meaning. It is not simply two sentence formula Krura destructs the house matters and "Soumya enhances the house matters ". It is here in this work emphasized on detailed Bhava analysis as to what matter is afflicted by whom and who is representing that matter in a particular bhava and how is he disposed separately and disturbed by the present affliction. This comprehensive approach that makes this work unique. It gives the insight into the microscopic details of Bhava.

First time in the era of traditional astrology, I am giving the effects of each Krura planet on the Bhava and the remedies for the planets afflicting the Bhava. Though remedies are mentioned against each matter, it is ultimately needing summarization for deriving the planets that needs to be propitiated. A table of summary is presented for easy reference to the readers for deriving the planets for remedies.

Important points

•A cruel planet in a Cruel sign will enhance the cruelty of the sign lord. Such cruel lords influence on other Bhavas and grahas will be severe.

•If the Cruel Planet is weak, by being with enemy or debilitated or in enemy sign, it may render weak positive effects in material sense, while it will cause sufferings at its peak in relational and health issues.

•If the cruel planet is in an inimical place that is if it is in its enemy sign or with kind planets, its own Karakatwa and its cruel lordship houses may have some control. Nevertheless, it does not assure good results.

5.Bhava Analysis – Unique presentation

INFLUENCE OF KRURA PLANETS

Bhava Analysis is a permanent feature. Therefore, every year the remedies are to be performed for the planets that have afflicted Bhava or Bhavas. Select the day when sun enters the Bhava that is afflicted and perform remedies for the respective planets especially on the week days represented by Krura planets.

Prabhāvī - dēśa Kāla Pātra

Effective Time Space and Object is natural phenomena that influences greatly on period planets (i. e. Dasha Bhukti and other sub periods) exclusively while delineating matters connected with group numbers 6th and 7th in every bhava titled as "The Belief/ Support System & Government". In fact, this is apt to apply in Prashna (Horary astrology). Still it is closely relating to native in birth chart. His belief system has something to do with the temples. Adversities if any in trust factors disturbs him. Similarly, his expectations may get shattered by defunct government. The remedies prescribed are preventive measures to native and not for either temple or government.

Similar to above, when the involvement of relatives or friends, the remedies given there are only for the native for the effects caused through those relatives or friends. It is not the remedies for them. For remedies to relatives and friends their birth chart is prime importance.

Special esteem held for Sun

SUN* (If afflicted) Except for Separating, Strictness and Punishing nature or spiritual orientation, being Atma karaka, the Sun, unless weak, do not hamper the Bhava negatively. With due apologies to the great source of astrology the Sun as the Graha Raja, and with all my resent I am compelled through the traditional texts to honour the dictum to include Sun in cruel group.

How to summarize the cruel influences on each Bhava

There are 7 groups in a Bhava. Each group may have signification of planets forming Bhava matter in that group. Affliction by a cruel in any one group even though if it is favourable to a matter in other group, remedies are to be performed. Therefore, assess each Bhava in total and derive at the planets those need remedies.

I give an example for this.

Sun affliction in 10th – aspects 4th

Saturn affliction in 9th – aspects 3rd, 11th, 6th (Saturn is crueler because he is the dispositor of Sun)

Rahu affliction in 5th – aspects 9th, 1st

Mars affliction in 11th – aspects 2nd, 5th, 6th

Ketu affliction in 11th – aspects 3rd, 7th

Mercury (being with cruel) in 9th – aspect 3rd (he is double cruel because he is the dispositor of Rahu (in Kanya)

Moon being more than 72 degrees from Sun in this chart not a cruel.

Mars and Ketu in Meena the house of Jupiter. As a rule, Jupiter should be dispositor of these two cruel planets. The Exemption rule is if the Bhava lord is in his own house along with cruel, he cannot be a dispositor of his guests.

So, Bhavas – 10 - 4 – requires remedies to Sun

Bhavas 3 - 6 - 9 - 11 requires remedies to Saturn

Bhavas – 1 - 5 - 9 requires remedies to Rahu (9th also has Saturn)

Bhavas – 2 - 5 - 6 - 11 requires remedies to Mars (6 - 11 has Saturn too)

Bhavas – 3 - 7 - 11 requires remedies to Ketu (3 - 11 has Saturn, 11 also has Mars)

Bhavas 9 - 3 requires remedies to Mercury (Strong remedy being dispositor of Rahu) (9 has Saturn, Rahu, 3rd has Saturn Ketu).
