    Kenneth Richard Leibow grew up in South Jersey near the shore close to Atlantic City. He went to High-School and College in New Jersey where he received a business degree. He has been in the Life Insurance Technology industry since 1987. He is currently the CEO and Founder of InsurTech Express. Ken has worked in a strategic leadership role for Fortune 500 Companies like Mutual of Omaha and Oracle Corporation. He developed the largest Life & Annuity insurance data exchange hub that processed over 1 million new policies a year and $30 billion of Annuities as the COO of Integrated Insurance Technologies. The company was eventually acquired by Oracle. Ken has won many industry prestigious awards such as the NAILBA Chairman's Award, NAILBA ID20 Trailblazer Award, several ACORD Leadership Awards, ACORD 50th Anniversary Award, and the LIDMA Innovation Award in 2022. Ken is married to a medical doctor from Costa Rica for 34 years and they have 2 children. Ken's hobbies include playing the Ukulele, Travel, and Computer Science.

      I grew up in South Jersey; and was very good at playing cards such as Gin Rummy and Blackjack. Math came easy to me; you could have definitely called me a Math Wiz. I studied how to bet and play Blackjack and could count up to four decks of cards. The gambling age in New Jersey at that time was 18 and the drinking age was 19; both are 21 today. I was eager to play Blackjack for the first time in a real casino. In April 1982, one month before my eighteenth birthday, I went to a casino in Atlantic City with my father. Typically, my father would play craps and give me money to go to the Arcade where I usually played Pac-Man. After about forty-five minutes, I got bored and sneaked into the casino. My adrenaline was pumping; and I headed straight to the Blackjack table. I was full of confidence; I had studied and practiced hard, so it was time for me to conquer Blackjack. I sat down at a five-dollar Blackjack table with about $50 of my own money and was immediately dealt a string of bad hands. In a matter of ten minutes, my money was gone. I was completely deflated.

      As I headed towards the casino exit, I realized that I had a five-dollar chip in my pocket. I saw a roulette table on my way out and stopped by to put the chip on Black. The wheel started spinning and Bingo! the dealer called out twenty-six black. I won and let the money ride. Again Black hit. I played a couple of more spins betting on Black and I won again and again. I traded the $5 chips in for $1 chips. By this time, I took a seat at the table and started spreading the one- dollar chips all over the roulette board. I had no idea what I was doing, but I continued to win. I decided to put a stack of chips on 17. I also put chips on several numbers connecting to 17, placing split and corner bets. I chose 17 because that was my age, and on the next spin 17 HIT! I had stacks and stacks of one- dollar chips. You can guess what became my new favorite number, still to this day. Everyone at the roulette table was screaming and laughing, having a great time. My father walked by and saw me at the table. He abruptly told me to go, and I cashed out with about $600 of winnings in my pocket. My father and I then went to a restaurant at the casino to eat; and
