Authority in the Darkness - Dr. Dee Jenkins

    1

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was empty, and a formless mass cloaked in darkness. The Spirit of God was hovering over its surface. Then He said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw that it was good. Then He separated the light from the darkness, night. Together these made up one day. And God said, Let there be space between the waters, to separate the water from the water. And so it was. God made space to separate the waters above from the waters below. We became the below!

And God called the space sky. This happened on the second day. And God said, Let the waters beneath the sky be gathered into one place, so dry ground appeared. And so it was; then he named the dry ground land and the water seas. And God saw that it was good. And let the land burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant, and let some trees grow seed-bearing fruit. The seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from seed-bearing plants and trees, and their seeds produced plants and trees of like kind. And God saw that it was good. This all happened on the third day. And then, humanity fell into utter darkness through the Spirit of skepticism! God had to become…

    Our Great Intercessor

In 1 and 2 Chronicles, He is our intercessor, and we need intercession to cover us, the people on the land. But more than that, we need Him as our high priest! To lead us through the generational darkness in time. In the book of Ezra, our temples have been corrupted with those ancient lies from those who are unholy and without righteousness in them, yet they want to rule and reign just as Satan wanted to that moment with Eve.

The purpose for our worship is to honor the Creator and only Him. This may be the most difficult challenge of all for humanity. For man longs to be worshipped, and his fight is to rebel against himself, because this will lead to demon control ultimately, which will bring about his eternal state of separation from God forever. In the New Testament, Satan confronted Jesus on the mountain where He tried to challenge Him with different tests, first with food, then with wealth, and pride. For us, He died destroying this false power of darkness, now revealed to us!

We are living out the story of Christ; only we can write it out until the end! As we join Christ’s victory declaring, He lives!

His story…is the mystery of all things. Jesus is the living history of humanity. The beginning until… He responded by saying that there shall be no other gods before God! At that moment, Satan was trying to erase the living word spoken by God on that day in the garden. But the ultimate challenge was when he said, Throw yourself off this mountain. Is not it written that God will give His angels charge over thee? Jesus responded by saying, Do not tempt the Lord thy God! The referral of these words is what destroys his attempt of destruction against Jesus in natural flesh. For the Lord was subject to His Father while He occupied a physical body on earth, and His authority on earth had to follow the protocol of heaven and move earth and heaven at the same time; when Jesus speaks, the rotation of Earth will balance because Jesus is the balance in time. This is the reason why Jesus always alluded to the fact that He could do nothing without the permission of His Father. For authority to produce its intended purpose, we must never exalt ourselves above the creator of all things, meaning humanity, for we did not create ourselves; creation was already here.

The real purpose of the devil is to get man to replace what has always been with what is permitted to be uncovered now; in hopes that we will be so engrossed with the greatness of these inventions, we would give our worship to them and forget the greatness that serve us every day, like the sun shining every morning and at evening coming to give us relaxation. Most importantly, the night serves us rest for the healing of our bodies, then the sun rises again breaking forth in a new day.

The very nature of God has been replaced with unholy relationships with things that are attached to the demons of darkness; Come, our High Priest! We call unto you God. Your word is true! In the book of Nehemiah, you are our mighty wall, protecting us from the enemies of the cross. In Daniel, you are the force behind the king urging him to call for the prophets to come and interpret his dream of impending doom. For you said that unless you reveal it to the prophets first, you would not move.

What the king learned was that he was about to lose his kingdom, and it would be destroyed. God is showing us today that the same spirit of hatred for the church has launched an attack against her, but it will not prosper because the wall represents the promise of deliverance. For God is our defense against all evil! It is a sign that we need to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together as we see the day approaching; we pray without ceasing.

In Esther, she stood in the gap for her nation; mandated by God to go to the king, her beauty was to replace the arrogant and faulty spirit of an old queen past her time, and her name was Queen Vashti. Esther had already been groomed for this assignment by her uncle, Mordecai. God is grooming His young women today to replace the old tarred ones.

If you look at this picture of Vashti, she was more concerned about her looks than caring for people. Esther, on the other hand, wanted to obey God at all cost. The woman of God stood before the king arbitrating for the house of Israel’s deliverance. God set in motion a plan to overturn the plot against the children of Israel. Satan has been waiting for his chance to destroy the church of God with deep-seated deceit; as you see, it has been working on the old-aged ones, but not now! This hour is to save the coming generations of children who are under attack by evil forces of darkness.

In the book of Job, Jesus is the arbitrator who not only understands our struggles but has the power to do something about them. In this case, God allowed the devil to buffet him, even stripping him of everything worldly that he possessed even right down to him losing his family. He was so wealthy in cattle and land, for God had blessed him with great business success, but then the day came where he had to make a serious choice. Satan stood before the throne of God accusing God that if He would let him attack Job that he would curse God to his face; what gall Satan had. In a modern way of speaking, let us say it this way: God said, Take your best shot! so to speak, removing the protective shield around him! God put a stipulation there though, You can do anything except take his life!

    2

Satan was not permitted to kill Job, only pick at him with sickness and tormenting his mind and emotions, although he did lose all of his family. By the time everything was finished that Satan was allowed to do to him, the most powerful words ever spoken out of a human’s mouth was spoken by Job, Though He [God] slays me, yet will I trust Him! America is in a moment like this, as well as every other nation of the world. The question is, what are we going to say? Bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her through the form above! Let us look at what songs can do. God spoke to His servants in times past and told them to sing while even in the heat of many battles, and through those songs, God gave the power of joy to defeat the enemy. God stands with the righteous, against tyranny and most certainly injustices against His people. This is why God’s promises to His people are yea, nay, and Amen.

In Proverbs, He is our wisdom, to know right and wrong whereby giving us His word guiding the light on all truth and in truth. For without wisdom to know the right way to go, or what to do, nothing in the natural world makes any logical sense; but more than logic, we are creatively made. This is because as humanity continues to move toward the end, we must embrace the creative power of God, which is going to get stronger and stronger for the final battle between good and evil. God’s love and compassion for us are what He has placed inside of us covering our purpose throughout our lifeline. We need this end-time wisdom in all things and in all of our ways keeping our foot from falling into deception.

Only in the learning of Him can we live successfully while prospering in all that we are called to do. What is the spirit of wisdom? In Ecclesiastes, He is our purpose for living and doing good while delivering us from vanity. It is the vanity of vanities that destroys rational emotions; beauty is but for a moment. In the Song of Solomon, He is our lover and the rose of Sharon.

In Isaiah, He is the balm of Gilead, for He is healing us while filling us with His soothing salve of love and compassion into our sinful soul. In Lamentations, He is our wheel in the middle of a wheel—the one who assures us that the dry, dead bones of yesterday will come alive again, and that time is Now.

In Daniel, God is the ancient of days, as He is revealing the coming days along with the coming victories in our lives. He is the everlasting God who never runs out of time, for He is time, the I am that I am. And even as our time runs out, He is the one that can turn time by fifteen years as He did with King Hezekiah. After pronouncing death to his house, after the king repented, God sent His prophet back to the palace and declared a rescinding to that judgment.

In Hosea, He is our faithful lover, so we should never feel isolated or alone; He is always there. His love never fails, for He is always beckoning us to come back to Him even when we have abandoned Him. The Lord knows this pain very well. Even Peter, the love of His life, denied Him during the crucifixion three times, yet Jesus called for him after He had died, and, translated, Jesus said these words explicitly, Tell even Peter to come and meet Me! He wanted His disciple to know how much He loved Him; all was forgiven and buried in this great sacrifice. In Joel, He is our refuge, keeping us safe in times of trouble like these, and as the deep darkness covers the earth, God’s love is growing. Why, because love is the defense against offense.

In Amos, He is the husbandman; the one we can depend on to stay with us always, for a husband loves His bride. We see that the family unit has been completely broken down, but through this plague pandemic in 2020/2021, family has been most important because mothers and fathers have had to stay home and care for the family unit. In the book of Obadiah, we see that help and victory are foretold that the Lord of the kingdom is going to return, and His will shall be done on earth. Hope lives with the walls of despair. We know that the word of God is strong, and we can depend on it; no power on earth has been able to erase it.

In the book of Jonah, the Lord is our salvation, and vision is the hope of a coming righteous kingdom. And where the people have no vision, they will soon perish. This is the attempt of evil people today, and that is to steal the vision of tomorrow away from the very young and the very old! It is orchestrated from evil to show horror more than good.

In the book of Micah, He is the Judge of the nations, and He is coming back for a Holy One; one without a spot, wrinkle, or a blemish in it, and that’s the church! All unrighteousness will be judged by God, so we don’t have to think that evil will rule forever, because it won’t Sorrow might endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning light. For the battle is the Lord, and we win! We should never forget this! In the book of Nahum, God is jealous for us. This statement ought to make us shout. All He asks is that we have no other gods before Him, for all He has done for us is deserving of that joyfully!

    3

In the book of Habakkuk, He is the Holy One, the one that the prophet called upon to deliver the bloody streets filled with sin and death; doesn’t this sound like years 2020/2021? The encounter with death has been overwhelming. We need Him! And He guarantees that He is here today. In the book of Zephaniah, He is the witness, so we know He is watching over us. In the book of Haggai, God overthrows our enemies, and He continues to overthrow the wicked today. In the book of Zechariah, He is Lord of hosts and the King of all kings, so there is no power greater than His throne. In the book of Malachi, He is the messenger of the covenant, and we should never forget that His covenant with His church cannot be erased ever.

In the book of Matthew, He is the King of the Jews. In the book of Mark, He is the servant serving us as He washed the feet of His disciples. In the book of Luke, He is the Son of Man, feeling what we feel; we have a God who identifies with our pain. In the book of John, He is the Son of God. In the book of Acts, He is the Savior of the world. Be not afraid, because His miraculous acts are moving in the atmosphere. In the book of Romans, He is the righteousness of God, never changing. In 1 Corinthians, He is the rock that followed Israel and is leading us today.

In 2 Corinthians, He is the triumphant one, giving us victory over all attacks of evil. In Galatians, He is our liberty by setting us free from the bondage and separation from Him who is God. In Ephesians, He is the head of the church, the beginning, and the end. In Philippians, He is our joy, for with joy we draw water from the wells of salvation. In Colossians, He is our completeness and wholeness.

In 1 Thessalonians, He is our hope against hope. In 2 Thessalonians, He is our glory, for the glory of the Lord has risen on us. In 1 Timothy, He is our faith. In 2 Timothy, He is the stability of our faith. In Titus, He is the reason for our serving, for we have chosen to serve the Lord. In Philemon, He is our benefactor. In Hebrews, He is our perfection. In James, He is the power behind our faith. In 1 Peter, He is our example.

In 2 Peter, He is our purity. In 1 John, He is our life. In 2 John, He is our pattern. In 3 John, He is our motivation. In Jude, He is the foundation of our faith. In Revelation, He is our soon-coming King. God has made a way for us to walk uprightly before Him and also uprightly before the world. He covered every part of our lives with His authority to prosper. Where is the image of God? So God created us in His image and then patterns us after Himself, male and female. He placed man and woman on equal footing concerning His authority to rule. For neither is above the other, it takes both to agree with the truth of the word of God. The reason why the church lay in ruins today is because of the broken covenant between them both in respect toward each other; it has been broken by the lies of hell.

If you would ask most preachers today to tell you about the mysteries of God, they could not because they have not spent enough time walking with Him or talking with Him! Most of their time is spent walking and talking with the world and living in the world. For Enoch walked with God while talking with God until one day he walked right into the eternal world of heaven, never to been seen again. Imagine the closeness of us and the Creator of all things wrapped up in each other’s presence all day and all night. We must wait on Him and listen to Him about everything that’s happening today, for only He knows what hour it is. Just like we spend most of our hours holding devices in our faces and our hands, it is time to replace these gadgets with intimacy with the Creator of all things. All things are created to help us in our natural everyday lives, but we have forgotten that this life is only the beginning of our final life to our God. This is a test, just as those in the past were tested. With each generation, it becomes clear that God is searching out those who are tried and tested and have been found worthy for God to open up the books to the end-time revelation.

The church has been seduced by the spider’s web of entanglement and rendered powerlessness. In Jesus’s name, this relationship is broken! For in Isaiah 53:5, it reads, And Jesus was wounded, meaning He carried the scar of the battle for our transgressions, which covers every walk of sin, and then He was bruised for our inequities, and by those stripes we are healed completely! Jesus was struck across His back for our pain while carrying our bruises of disappointments. But more than this, He wore our iniquities of sin before God so that He could plead for our success in the physical realm. He walked up to His death and hung on the cross of compassion punching Satan in the face. What a God we serve. The earthly nails became the ink of time, and once the blood began to flow, this was the proof of Yesterday, today, and forever
