      Jesus Christ

      The primary mission of Jesus Christ in the world was the redemption of all humanity from the fall of grace into sin. When he was in the world, Jesus illustrated his divine power to heal the sick of their infirmities and sins and cleansed their bodies. Mind and soul through miraculous power only, he possessed. He displayed his divine power over death when he raised several people from the dead, walking on water, calming storms, turning water into wine, and feeding thousands of people with only a few fish and loaves of bread. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

      In showing his compassion to the dead, the hungry, and the sick in body and soul, he teaches each of us to aspire to be compassionate like him, and to follow in his example!

      Jesus’s Purpose

      The spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He (the Spirit) has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.

      To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.

      Jesus, a Cause of Division

      Jesus Christ proclaimed, "Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth? I have come to bring not peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and one’s enemies will be those of his household.

      Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it, so saith the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen!

      The Gentle Mystery of Christ

      Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give your rest. Take my yoke upon your shoulder and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you find rest for yourselves, for my yoke is easy and my burden light.

      Meek—quiet, gentle, obedient!

      Humble—having a modest or low opinion of your own importance!

      Whoever is not with me is against me, whoever does not gather with me scatters. Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven (speak rudely about God or use the holy name of God as a swear word).

      Whoever speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

      Prayer

      In the Lord, your labor is not in vain.

      Teach me to do your will, for you are my God, may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

      I pray thee if I found favor in thy sight, let me know thy ways that I may know thee so that I may find favor in thy sight.

      Wisdom—when we are yoked with God, his energy accomplishes the task. Those who abide in the Lord will labor, but it will not be toil.

      It will be a labor of love that refreshes and regeneration to our souls.

      My people are being destroyed for the lack of knowledge. The true knowledge is the knowledge of God.

      The full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet
