    When you get paid, divide it into three piles:

    50% goes to your bills.

    20% goes to buying things.

    30% goes to savings.

    To figure out how much money is 50%, get a calculator. Type in the total amount of your check and then multiply it with 0.50. For example, if your check is for $140, you type in the following: 140 x .50 = _______.
