Chapter One
The Spies
Long long ago in a dark and gloomy kingdom called Khabet, there was a cruel and gruesome king named Alexander who had poor and miserable slaves work for him. He was so awful that he kept two guards next to his large and comfortable throne. When he wished to stand up and check on his hardworking and melancholic slaves he had to be picked up.
He decapitated anyone who didn’t bow down to him and sometimes he wasn’t even bothered to do that, he just told them to go away! They were so scared of getting their head chopped off that they ran away and never came back!
One day, the king had only five of his best soldiers and apparently there were sneaky spies in his kingdom and they would send messages of the king’s everyday life, what he did and how he did it, they would also receive information about the statistics of the whole kingdom and the pros and cons and they would ship one letter which would take five days (120 hours)! The other kingdoms around Khabet were so scared that they would never even dare to go near it. One day, a king named Edgar noticed something while walking around his beautiful, gorgeous kingdom. There were random archers on buildings that were not commanded by him to be standing there! ‘Hey what are you doing over there, get down here this instant!’ he shouted. The archers looked at him and then showed him some kind of sign. Or could he be telling someone else behind him to…
Chapter Two
The Search
Straight after he saw the sign he heard a sound, it was shing
almost like a dagger! Edgar then turned around to see a man wearing a black mask who had a sharp and glistening dagger which was for stabbing into the back of a rich, wealthy king. (Now who could that be?) The black masked man then raised his dagger and swung it furiously. Luckily, the great king dodged the honed dagger and grabbed the petrified man’s arm and twisted it. The man grunted, which turned into a light scream which finally turned into a deafening scream. (So high pitched that the king almost let go of his arm!) But the king was not going to let go. He then silenced the man with a razor-sharp, blood-stained sword and took the rebellious man’s life. The archer was now alone with no reinforcements. He pulled the string of his bow and shot it. Luckily, the king had the man’s lifeless body and took cover. The arrow sunk into the bloodied man’s heart. Edgar then frantically climbed the tower and blocked the archer’s punch. After that, he threw him off the high tower, knocking him out on a group of hard, but now crushed watermelons (which were in a stall of a proud man’s, however now he could not sell anything to his customers). The king definitely knew something was wrong, he commanded a group of trained warriors to search the whole kingdom for more spies. The guards
