Right
In
The
Middle
Of
The
Kitchen!
The
day
Penelope’s
parents
surprised
Penelope
with
a
two-wheel
bicycle
began
like
any
other,
EXCEPT
when
Penelope
BOUNCED
2
into
the
kitchen
for
breakfast.
There,
waiting,
a
sparkling
new
red
TWO-WHEELER
with
BRIGHT
RED
STREAMERS
and
a
SHINY
SILVER
BELL!
SURPRISE,
cried
her
parents.
Unbelieving,
Penelope
SHRIEKED
in
delight,
jumping
and
dancing,
as
her
parents
watched,
EUPHORIC!
Breakfast
was
ALL
but
forgotten,
as
Penelope
pleaded
"DADDY,
PUT
ME
ON
THE
SEAT,
PUT
ME
ON
THE
SEAT!"
Instantly,
Penelope’s
father
SWOOPED
her
up
and
PLUNKED
her
down,
RIGHT
IN
THE
MIDDLE
OF
THE
KITCHEN!
And,
to
Penelope’s
surprise,
shouted
"LOOK
PENELOPE.
LOOK
WHAT’S
SITTING
ON
THE
TABLE.
LOOK
WHAT
ELSE
WE
GOT
YOU.
A
NEW
RED
HELMET."
Whirling
around,
Penelope
GASPED.
It
was
the
BRIGHTEST
RED
HELMET
she
had
EVER
seen,
and
it
was
sitting
right
there
at
the
head
of
the
table,
a
PERFECT
match
to
her
BRIGHT
RED
BIKE.
OOHS,
and
AAHS,
echoed
throughout,
while
Penelope’s
mother,
appealing
to
Penelope
AND
her
father,
announced,
"Breakfast
is
getting
cold
you
two,
and
if
we
don’t
