    Enjoy Your Travels - Echo of Light is a collection of poems, songs and stories written by Hamish Lancaster between 2012 and 2024.
    Hamish bundles words together on a regular basis. Sometimes he tries throwing these bundles into a crowded room to see what happens. He was a National Poetry Slam State Finalist in 2014 in Queensland, Australia. Every few years he experiences cases of psychosis, mostly this just results in more writing about inexplicable experiences. Much of his writing is a result of being an avid participant of the local slam poetry scene in Brisbane, and many pieces in this collection are written to be performed.

      Divine Timing

      I woke up with a voice repeating to me the following two words over and over this morning

      Divine timing

      Life has in it, some truly beautiful errors.

      As planets wonder to themselves, what does it mean for me to be in retrograde? All manner of mix ups, misunderstandings, double payments of the wrong amount via direct debit, and misfortune fall down around us.

      As we navigate ‘Where to next?’, after any event, catastrophic or otherwise unimportant, we find our way forward.

      And here is the beauty, the joy of finding out something by accident, by exploring through experiment, by doubling down on excellent ideas only available in hindsight, and finding some quite magic reason in the chaos.

      The error that leads me into my next day,
