About this ebook

In "The Harvest," Jake Bannermann takes us on an epic and terrifying journey from Central Park to the chilling landscapes of Finland. A famed spiritual orator foretells Christ's return, only to usher in a shocking fallout of death and devastation. Lucifer rises, not to battle God, but an unlikely foe—Adolf Hitler and his gang of eighteen, souls bartered and unsatisfied.

Against this apocalyptic backdrop, a whirlwind of black magic, sex scandals, and a diabolically intricate murder plot unfolds. This narrative juggernaut will leave you reeling, likened to a relentless onslaught of kicks to the teeth under the heavy overture of death metal.

"Sex, Sin, Satan. Angels and Demons," Bannerman dares to blaspheme while pushing boundaries. "The Harvest" is a brutally graphic exploration of how unchecked desire and insatiable greed can unearth humanity's darkest inclinations. As the lawsuit against Lucifer becomes the centerpiece, everything you've held true will be tested, compelling you to question everything.

"The Harvest" is an unforgettable blend of horror and thriller that rivals the works of Clive Barker and Stephen King. Remember, you reap what you sow. Prepare to reap "The Harvest".

    Preface

    un-der-dog

    1. A competitor thought to have little chance of winning a fight or contest

    2. A person with little status in society, I know the underdog; we all know him.

"One of the most troubling plagues humankind has suffered from throughout history is complacency. It has been more damaging than polio, more putrid than the infamous Bubonic Plague, and more rampant than influenza. And it is getting worse.

Our children are indoctrinated into the religion of ‘don’t ask’ when they can open their mouths to questions around them. But unlike polio, the plague, and the flu, the disease of complacency is very easily cured – by asking questions! Questions are essential, the questions that we would typically stifle and ignore. This Orwellian ‘ignorance is knowledge campaign must end".

Instead of relying on television to inform you what you want to eat, drink, wear, or sell your soul to, why not get your mind dirty and find out what you need and want? Oh, but times are different now that we have the technology, you say anxiously. Wrong. The present era is similar to two millennia ago. Times may change, but people never do. Now, that being said, this story is a work of fiction. I dreamed of an idea, which evolved into a burning question: what happened to Lucifer? No one involved with this story believes that any of the events there are valid. Those closest to me know of my love for controversy and passion for the most straightforward questions – ‘what if?’ I am not a Christian, although I was raised in the Church. I am not attempting to change anyone’s mind concerning faith, chance, kismet, or whatever other titles a person defines their existence by. I hope you enjoy the story. I hope that you think, ponder, and above all else – question!"

    The Author

    THE UNRELEASED FIRST CHAPER INTRODUCTION

The Rite As the blade sliced he could feel the splinters from the wood enter his skin now just over 65 years old his skin starting to thin like crumpled paper age spots scattered veins mapping up his arm giving directions to his heart which was now thumping at an increasing volume the wood piercing painfully the ropes coarse and unrelenting burning his wrist and ankles holding his body tightly to the railroad ties his mind flashing frantically in the dark corners of the space above the sanctuary the phencyclidine and ether still buzzing in his head the blurry outlie of the young Geisha girl slicing his ball sack the pain wrapping in his senses he struggled to look as the stainless steel razor  led searing like a laser the pain of shark teeth in soft tissue  his sense of taste salty blood exploding on his tongue like fireworks in the dark skies. The Geisha smiled so innocently but a hiss of a thousand violent cat fights in a dark neighborhood cracking the veil of the calm night burned his ears no words were spoken, her just eyes as black as the depths of space. His testicles poured out on the floor completely removed from the now ripped wrinkled skin flaps. The rope seemingly possessed held the crudely fashioned cross inverted over a banister above the unknowing flock in the inner sanctum below blood falling from her eyes the contrast of the reddish black against the white powder of the make up like tar staining the virgin white of fresh snow her eyes flowing tears of black and burned blood the sound of Legion like a slow deep growl such evil from a pristine creature squatting her pale legs panties caressing her now urinating vagina blood running down her face an unholy growl in her gut deep molested his ears as the piss flowed burning like water against the hot iron skillet as it hit the wooden floor her smile remained her face studied her creation the inverted cross representing the failures of the priest Christlike molestation of male students over his 30 years of priesthood tied nude now being lowered in view of the unknowing congregation as a sacrifice swinging like a pendulum blood raining from his body  the cloth bearing the orthodox cross stuffed in his mouth an x of black ash on his forehead, piss dripping from the rafters the blood running down his naked pale white and elderly broken body flowing towards his lips. The screams  the air the geisha stood all 12 years of molestation concentrated into her cry to the horrified crowd below an inverted nude priest a possessed young woman and the screams now silenced as the geisha shared in a demonic tone bloody tears urine drenched catholic uniform from the bellows of hell it erupted from her tiny frame gushing a mix of urine blood and flame Desire Me Like Satan!! howled voices of the tortured souls occupying Hells caverns of pain lie a choir of fallen souls at volumes heard for miles, the cross fell to the floor blood spaying like a gushing stab wound on the church floor worship ending like a mournful death the mood of a somber wake birthed in the large hall screams echoing the young girl burst into flames and fell limp bodied from high above the thud of her body like a slab of meat on the steel coroner table crumbled into a mass of charcoal moments after the slam of her body on the floor as the coal flattened a crown of thorns remained.

    CHAPTER 1

    Esrever

Mastema, mastema, mastema, he chanted softly, repeating the word like a mantra in his mind, Remember the word. Mastema.

A smile of pure, blissful joy illuminated his face as he opened his eyes. He was seated cross-legged Indian style, as it used to be called before the Indians changed into Native Americans and opened all the casinos – upon a plush white rug. He was completely naked, for he never wore any clothing when praying. After all, if God can see

everything at any time, then a few thin layers of synthetic cloth to hide the body would be pointless. He took great pleasure from how people reacted when he told them how freeing he found it to pray naked and how calming it is to approach Lord God, hiding nothing from him. They were shocked for just an instant before the simplicity and rightness of his words dawned upon them. There were two phrases that he heard most often in response to his naked devotions. That makes perfect sense, it was almost always their first exclamation, and it was usually followed by an incredulous, Why didn’t I think of that? Those two simple statements sum up exactly what separates the successful celebrity from your common rube.

To rise above the rest, you just had to find a simple and effective way of doing something better, a way to twist the norm into something new and exciting, not to mention enticing. He stood up gracefully, stretching his arms above his head while standing on his toes, warming his

body up again after being so still. Afterwards, he headed towards the luxurious bathroom to prepare for his evening. This was it. Tonight was THE NIGHT. This was the evening he had been working on for his entire life, and he fully intended it to be perfect. After a quick shower, he faced the mirror to shave his face. As he picked up the sharp razor, he could hear the dull roar of many voices speaking at once, seeping underneath the sliding glass door that led out to the balcony of his hotel room.

A mischievous grin formed underneath the layer of shaving cream. Of course, he had checked in under a false name, but it had somehow leaked that he was staying here. His legions of followers were all screaming out their support for the
