In The Very Act
(John Chapter 8)
he custodians and interpreters of the law presented to Jesus a woman taken T in adultery in the very act.
The account in John 8:4 records, they presented to the Savior the obligations of the law as commanded of Moses prior to the case, and in turn what He Christ said about it.
Customarily as in the old covenant they were right verbatim, according to ordinances and related ceremonial laws such one was to be stoned.
In a short exercise Jesus stooped down and with the same finger which wrote the moral law, He wrote on the ground.
