Introduction
In the distant past, before the rise of civilization and the dawn of recorded history, there lived a man named Genus. Genus was a figure of both awe and mystery. His story begins in a time when the earth was still young, a time when the forces of nature were untamed, and the boundaries between myth and reality were blurred.
This was 10,000 B.C., an era unlike any other, where humanity was just beginning to carve out its place in a world ruled by ancient, powerful beings. The Nephilim—offspring of Elohim —walked among men, their gigantic forms casting long shadows over the earth. Dragons soared through the skies, their fiery breath striking fear into all who dared cross their path. Dinosaurs and other mighty beasts roamed the vast landscapes, while creatures of the sea filled the oceans with life.
In this wild and untamed world, survival was not a given, but a daily struggle. Humans lived as hunter-gatherers, banding together in small tribes to navigate the dangers that lurked in every shadow. It was a time when the strong thrived and the weak perished, and Genus was determined to be among the former.
But Genus was more than just a hunter; he was a seeker, driven by a desire to understand the mysteries of the world around him. What was the origin of the Nephilim? How did the dragons come to be? And what role, if any, did he play in this grand, terrifying tapestry of creation?
As you embark on this journey with Genus, you will be transported to a world where the past and the fantastical collide. You will witness his trials and triumphs, his battles with fearsome creatures, and his quest for knowledge in a land that seemed both cruel and wondrous.
This is not just the story of a man, but the story of humanity's beginnings—a tale of survival, discovery, and the relentless pursuit of answers in a world that offered none easily. Welcome to the dawn of man.
Character Profile
Name: Genus
Alias: The Hunter, Apex Predator, Caveman
Age: 32
Description: 7'6", 418 lbs, golden brown eyes, burnish brass skin complexion, hulking frame with muscles, beard and long dark hair braided in cornrows. Wears a triceratops skull in battle with a saber tooth tiger pelt and cloak.
Weapons/gear/items: Triceratops Skull Helm
Description: Genus wears the massive skull of a Triceratops as a battle helm, its three formidable horns jutting out like spears. The skull has been hollowed out to fit over his head, with the inner surface lined with soft fur to cushion the weight. The eye sockets serve as intimidating openings, through which Genus peers with a fierce gaze. The natural ridges and curves of the skull add to his already imposing presence, making him appear even more colossal and fearsome.
Function: The Triceratops skull serves both as protection and as a symbol of Genus’s strength and dominance. In battle, it shields his head from blows while its horns can be used to gore opponents in close combat. Wearing such a helm also strikes terror into the hearts of enemies, giving Genus a psychological advantage on the battlefield.
The helm is a trophy of one of his greatest hunts, a testament to his prowess as a warrior and hunter.
This helm completes Genus's formidable appearance, adding an almost mythic quality to his presence in battle, where he is seen not just as a man, but as a force of nature.
Spear
Description: The spearhead is crafted from a shard of a meteorite, giving it a dark, metallic sheen with streaks of iridescent colors, like an ancient star frozen in time. The meteorite’s hardness makes it incredibly sharp, capable of piercing through the thickest hides. The shaft is made from a sturdy branch, possibly from an ancient tree, smoothed by hand but still retaining a rough texture for a better grip. The spear is about 8 feet long, perfectly balanced, allowing Genus to use it both as a thrusting weapon and as a throwing spear.
Function: This spear is Genus’s primary weapon, used for hunting and defense. Its sharpness and durability make it lethal against both large beasts like mammoths and smaller, faster prey. The meteorite’s otherworldly origin adds an element of mystery, perhaps believed to have spiritual or magical significance by Genus and his tribe.
T-Rex Femur Bone Club
Description: This massive club is made from the femur bone of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, approximately 4 a half feet, weighing 175 lbs polished smooth by years of use but still bearing the raw strength of its original owner. The bone is heavy, with one end slightly thicker, perfect for delivering crushing blows. Genus has wrapped the handle end in strips of cured animal hide for a secure grip. The surface of the bone is covered in ancient carvings—symbols of power and protection that Genus or his tribe have etched into the bone over time.
Function: The club is a weapon of sheer force, used to smash
