Description

Looking on the bright side of the legend, Wesley Earl Craven's passing, is that we can do a comprehensive biography on the fellow for your listening pleasure. Craven was an enigmatic character to say the least. He was raised in a strict religious household and only developed a love of film in his adult life, after pursuing another career entirely.
He would go on to write and direct such films as The Last House on the Left, The Hills Have Eyes, Swamp Thing, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The People Under the Stairs, and Shocker. He also directed such classics as Scream and The Serpent and the Rainbow.
We also go into detail in his constant struggle to break into mainstream media, specifically non-horror movies with films like Music of the Heart and how in doing so, he had to fire Madonna from the movie.
This week's "Hidden Track" is Dnzl with their song Fences. They are playing in Yonkers Nov, 9th @ Barney McNabs with Distance Kept, Carnage Krew, Billy Club Sandwich, and ONYX. You can find them at https://www.dnzlhxc.com/music
